[sees Nerdook] Noooooooooooo! [intro music burst] Oh, thank god! [Nerdook music cues] Er.... [real music starts] My eeeeeeears! Already, they bleed!!! [after 15 minutes of mute, risks life again] Wtf is this!? Sawtooth paradise? [remutes]
Crap controls. Otherwise good ga... oh, wait. That is the game. Silly dev. Haha. Trix are for kids. @Mani: Um, ya. Says that at the top of the page. Says what to do because it is. Hurf, durf.
Ftr, clearance certainly could be precision accurate. It isn't. This ain't no Mega Man. This game is nice by comparison. Also, there could be a noticeable delay between landing from jump, to jumping again. There actually isn't, if you're spamming the jump button. If there is, then there's something wrong with YOUR computer, not the game itself. This game is infuriating enough due to real problems, like bad choices for a single button game or the occasional obnoxious leap of faith, without people making up blatant bull about this game that simply isn't true. And why they're getting positive votes, and in such ridiculous numbers? Well, everybody loves wool now, don't they?
Classic. I like the representation better than some of the games this week (looking at you, Card Hunter). Still, when you squash it between games like Meat Boy and Realm of the Mad God, it looks pretty peakish. Also, have to remind myself not to micro-manage too often, even if you do have to pay attention a bit too much unless you're playing on easy mode.
Being nice isn't as helpful for ratings as being honest. Besides, I have no need to be nice: distinctly above average means at least three stars. Although if you're generous, I suppose maybe four. I love the keyboard support and shortcuts. All RPGs should have these. (Yes, I'm looking at you EBF.) Even if I didn't get eaten by the yeti on the open ski, there's no chance I wouldn't be giving this under three stars. Personally, I'll be giving it more.
well, i put it off long enough. it's one of the worst launch games there is. it's also one of the most infuriating, esp considering the nature of hard badge / low scores and how to get it. i haven't done it in years. i probably won't even bother. don't really wanna take a chance on breaking my monitor, keyboard, mouse or computer anyway.
mercifully quick. i don't care how old this game is, and honestly, it really isn't as old as some games on the site are that even look, play and sound a lot better... i can't stand this game for a second longer.
First thoughts... "Whoa is she practically nude in the intro? I mean, she's painting over her naked bod except for her loincloth, right?" [sees horseback rider flashing] "Yup. Wonder how that made it past the censors?"
after you beat that nasty piano jump stage with Joanna, you can continue to main area, then refresh. that works. don't know why the botd doesn't reward right.
Quick! Someone get me a Slippy cone! Still, after I got Grippy, and even after a few Speed upgrades, the action still doesn't feel right. It's just... weird. And anything beyond 60 is waaay too much--and completely unnecessary--anyway.
somebody's been playing too much Mega Man X. lol. not that it's necessarily a bad thing, ofc, or that there really is such a thing either. you know what i mean.
