I dunno, p0tato... I skipped the intro when I beat it, and I still got the badge. Anyway, it's good for such a short and simple game. 3/5

I only counted one level... but it certainly was "unique".

I encountered a bug. A few levels into the game, the hover stopped working in the middle of a level. The meter would drain, but I was stuck on the ground. I could still walk back and forth but couldn't finish the level, and there was no way I was going to wait 20 minutes for the time to run out. Besides that, though, it's an OK game. 3/5

A ripoff of Raiden? How?? Other than being in the same genre, I don't think they're all that similar. It's not like Raiden was the first vert-scrolling shooter ever made... although unfortunately it seems to be the only one some people are familiar with. If you're going to classify things like that, you might as well say that all vertical shooters are ripoffs of 1942 or Xevious, which in turn were elaborations on single-screen shooters like Galaga, which of course were just ripoffs of Space Invaders.

Seriously, this game is awesome. It's fairly challenging, but it's also extremely generous with the powerups and extra lives. The powerup system is perfectly simple and great, and It's still possible to get back into the game after dying. I would like to see Kong high scores, and a badge or two if possible.

As for the game, well, obviously I've played it a lot hehe. It's pretty awesome, but there's one thing that kinda bugs me. Money is kinda pointless because nothing bad happens to you when you die, and the only thing to spend money on is healing. The basic gameplay of it is cool, though. I had been sick of these "match 3" games for years, but this puts a whole new spin on it. 4/5

You have to see the guy in the flashing castle and then go back and turn all the roads green by killing all the monsters on them, and THEN go to the next area in order to get new spells. I've got 3 of them.

I kinda like the weird controls, but it would be nice if there was some kind of warning when the powerup is about to run out. 3/5

The game works well enough, but there are some really weird design choices here. Why do you have to click and drag the paddle around, instead of it just being attached to your cursor at all times? There's never any advantage to _not_ being able to control the paddle, so what's the point of having to hold the mouse button down the whole time? Also, why is there a timer instead of a first-to-X-goals format like most air hockey games? All you need is a 1-goal lead, and then you can just keep the puck in your own end and let the clock run out. And of course it would be good to have a selection of opponents of increasing difficulty... and I personally would like it better if the table was aligned vertically with the player on the bottom. Anyway, the game doesn't totally suck or anything, it's just that there are a zillion simple air hockey games out there, most of which are better. 2.6/5 (rounded up)

Good game with some definite problems. I was thoroughly enjoying it until level 3-3, when I got permanently stuck in a wall. I had been stuck a few times before that, but had been able to free myself, but this time I just kept getting sucked further in until the entire ship was inside the wall. Also, my health stopped going down when there was a sliver left, so I couldn't even kill myself off, I had no choice but to refresh and start over. Not sure what I want to rate this yet, I'll have to play it some more to see if this was just a fluke, or if it happens often enough to ruin the game.

Me too. Teagames.com was one of my main Flash game destinations before I discovered Kong, and I still go back there once in a while simply because it's the only place to find those games. Now that you're finally here, it's kind of a disappointment. If using Kong as free advertising for your own site through mini-versions such as this is more profitable than uploading all of the "real" games here, then I guess that's what you gotta do. It's a shame for Kong fans, though, because some of your games are definitely worthy of the full Kongregate treatment, with badges, Kong high scores and whatnot.

Also, a tip for those who haven't figured it out yet: it's OK to touch the enemies when they're on their way in. The only things you have to dodge are bullets and enemies that come out from the centre to ram you. You can put yourself right in the middle of an incoming swarm and blast a bunch of 'em before they even get to the centre.
