Wow. I came in the third score today. I blew tons of money on upgrades I didn't need because I was afraid the game was actually going to become difficult. ...Wish I hadn't done that. Seriously though, this game, as I entitled my name on the scoreboard, was stupidly easy.
Loved the game, really disliked the grindiness of it. You have to beat all the achievements before you fight the boss? Wow. Would've been nice to know that before having to restart and play a bunch more times to complete easily done achievements I didn't bother with.
Getting the hard badge is just straight up grinding the game to hell. It's more-or-less impossible to beat without at least a max level sword and a decently upgraded potion. But then once you do get those two items, you win almost if not actually immediately.
Loved the idea, found the game challenging (I lost my first game), and can't wait for both a sandbox and a campaign mode in the later, better version you said you plan on making.
Caos...frankly, it's bugged. When you're dumping a ton of energy around it starts to mess up. I like to pretend that it's just because there's only a certain amount of energy the lines can handle at a time.
I think colbyx got it mostly right, but you missed the JerrysLittleMonkey. The reason why the computer failed to have its higher functions totally shutdown was because Jerry created a program that prevented the temp cache from being erased.
Also, the computer wasn't just preventing a nuclear war. It was actually targeting things like military bases and nuke silos and whatnot, not only in enemy nations but in friendly territory as well. That's why they shut it down.
Which admittedly is a pretty valid reason. People in the military are people too, I dunno that they deserve to be nuked more than anyone else.
I camped all the creeper nodes and hit survival, and now I'm unable to be killed. Did I...Did I win? I think I won. Off to another planet then, I guess.
I feel like allies were vastly underused. For example, instead of watching my allies die in ten seconds and then wiping out the enemy base alone, how about if I could use my allies as a distraction to charge into the enemy base, take out their AA, and then run like hell as a bombing run starts? Instead of just...circle, shoot, repeat indefinitely.
My reaction to seeing Atropos: Hah! Everyone said Hyperion was crazy hard and I beat him. Atropos is gonna be a cinch in comparison! 6 deaths later: Balls.
Also, for triple post action, I just noticed a bug. It gave me the achievement for reaching level 11 but I only have skills up to level 8 and clearly am not level 11 or I could play hardmode.
Wowwww...and it wont let me play hardmode until level ten. I beat the normal mode game already. I'm not playing it AGAIN so I can play a version that is a remote challenge. Lowered my rating from a four to a three.
Won on my first try without being hit a single time...I did like it though. My only wish was that there were more and more difficult bosses. What did the boss even do? I feel like it should have been whipping tentacles at me at random, but it just kind of hovered at the edge of the screen.
Lolwut, Disco? I never played as anyone other than the start hero...I haven't beaten the whole game yet, but I just killed Darkblood III. So...yeah. You just suck.
I'm also kind of confused as to why the hell Jack killed Kathryn, like it said in the first game. The drugs he's taking making him calm...right? So it doesn't really make sense for him to just have a crazy flip out and murder someone.
