I absolutely LOVE the art style. Retro-ish but still high-def-ish. Great colors, great use of layers for the trees, great use of particles. One of the best-looking top-down 2D games I've seen.
If I hold my keyboard like a guitar, like suggested by in-game help, the 1234 keys are at the opposite position than the screen. (on my keyboard, 1 is at the top, in-game, 1 is at the bottom).
Okay, I got stuck while trying to apply the gems to a tower. I tried dragging the gems directly on top of a tower, but it didn't work. The mouse-over tooltip said "shift+click to drop", so (after my previous failed attempts) I thought that MAYBE that would mean "drop onto the tower". And now I have no gems, and I can't complete the tutorial. (and I've just noticed the middle-bottom section of the screen)
TL;DR: I failed to complete the tutorial. (I guess I deserve a badge for that!)
See level 10? Full of blue/cyan blocks? I'm not colorblind, but I find that level awful... Too difficult to tell the blocks apart. Yeah, I know about the colorblind button. It improves the looks somehow for this level.
Jackomg, your wish (also from other 480+ people) has been granted! "Scroll Lock" game has been created: http://www.kongregate.com/games/devoidgames/scroll-lock
I live in a part of world that uses Celsius. I have no idea about Fahrenheit temperatures. Yes, I know I can convert them, but that feels artificial, and requires me getting out of the game to do the conversion; while Celsius is very "natural" for me.
Needs a "low quality" toggle. It's sad to see this game slow down just because flash player wants to keep everything perfectly anti-aliased. Give me faster graphics and smoother framerate!
For some weird reason, it is not recognizing cursor+space keys here. I can press Q, E, S... But the game doesn't notice when I press the arrow keys and the space key. Using Chrome 14 on Win7 32-bit.
