The basic gun has carried me through most of the game... although I do have it maxed out after farming on the first boss. Just hold the shoot button, sit in the middle bottom until the boss, then dodge the 5 bullets it manages to fire and presto 18k about...
I also forgot to mention hit-boxes, I like my AOE (area of effect) spells, but sometimes when I've clearly hit the enemy, it does nothing because they were a pixel outside of hit range, yet the animation clearly blasted them full blast.
I don't like this game because the "must, kill... everything" mentality after a while, gets repetitive. Great music, but should a second game be created, maybe have the music change every 5-10 levels or so. I like the art style, though sometimes the map will glitch in funky ways (usually just walking back where you came from fixes it.) Pertaining to gameplay, I get tired of the loot being pointless... crap. Whilst Mana Pearls are essentially a score count, it'd be nice to have a sort of store. Purchasing items you need rather than hope that the next monster drops something that suits your build. One might argue that this would cheapen the game and make it too easy, but your "score" suffers if the buy cost is much higher than the sell cost.
okay, good art, but, drawn out, glitchy (though maybe I just need a better computer) 4/5 is my rating. (though I've only noticed that I want 1 class and that'd be sorceror... I like my jesters.
Britain, stop being such a glutton for tea... This game has a good art style, though it lacks something. I mean, I sell opium, but seem to keep lacking money even though I sell plenty high. The game goes at such a quick pace and the ships take their time... :/ I'm basically stuck trying to take every possible deal in hopes that I can catch up.
