ok, this one was almost painless, the best proof that these crapgames would be WAAAAY better without dregg ,,humour". take away that opening ceremony ruckus, and whole little angel bullshit, then maybe i would even give it 4 stars.
See, the most annoying thing is that in the past some decent series got badges only on one part... and here devs went totally crazy. So the problem was not Vasant bombarding Kong with dozens of less or more rotten eggs - taht's totally fine, there are worse games, really. Problem was what Kong stuff did with those stinky eggs.
hmm, i can play it from chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0015/1730/live/Preloader.swf, but not on my old kong account, obviously, and without all log in boons. such a shame that Kong vandalised itself...
ah, this is the very game that brought me to Kong 12 years ago. glad to see it still works here, so i can have some fun with archery :) never gets old.
jesus, another html abomination... oh well, it probably wouldn't be so bad if i haven't seen the real one. but yea, how the hell can you start new game? luckily i found original version and grabbed it.
people really shouldn't be complaining (much) on this one, as it is literally a 5 minute game WITH reading... so hardly a dreggful experience, heh.
However, after playing it on hard, i must say that my suspicions abuot Vasant guy being dropped multiple times on his head in the childhood seem basically confirmed.
LosD@ i doubt people would be protesting if these ,,games" weren't so awful - it's about crapness and number, in this order. And small correction, Vasant does zero programming, as well as zero graphics, it's all just standard rpgm content and functionality (and yet, he has no problem with asking for patrons money... geez). Guy could at least work on good stories and writing - but no, he failes also in that department.
This is a bad game, in many ways. But indeed, most of flaws could be ignored, the real killer is broken battle simulation part combined with crazy randomness (if results are so random then where's even my merit in succeding?). And yet, any time, i'd take this game over... you know what :)
For a long time it looked like a decent game, with actually funny bits and seemingly interesting case, but final part ruins that image - the whole crime makes no sense, and the way killer acts is ridiculous. Plus that ultracheesy ending... meh. Also, fake alias? What does that even mean?
i laughed maybe four times, and that's it. the rest was just eye-rolling, predictible and dull, with forced deductions, unclear motive and obligatory ,,badass divine bullshit for 12-years-old and Vasant fans" at the end, yuck. nothing downright awful, but also nothing of the value. btw, do people really use sodium as salt in India?
It's a rare case when i need to solve puzzles on paper rather than in the game, to get a full score. For me that means flawed design. Or, perhaps we could say that people attaching badges to it did a bad job.
diegolis and other idiots@ This particular part may not be bad (though i wouldn't go that far to call it decent), the same for 3-4 other games from the series, but there are another few dozens of this trash that should have never been made... and now they haunt what was left of Kong. So yea, all the hate for this pitiful dev and his ,,work" is well deserved.
yea, that shitty intro almost made me pass on the rest... but then it turned to be actually ok-ish, better than average dregg game. i belive it really helps that Duke is relatively normal character, while Dregg's partners and relatives are more freaky that himself.
very easy, most of it was just repeated clicking - but then spiced with impossible 24... meh, Bonte games used to be better, i'm not sure if this one deserves ,,brain" tag
Another mmo with card crap? KILL IT WITH FIRE! Ok, this one is actually passable - because it's mostly just a regular turn tactics, cards were probably just a pretext to sell packs, heh. But 3d graphics are completely unnecessary feat, slowing the game, and damn, why do i have to drag each single card?
first part was relatively funny (with stress on relatively), and puzzles rather logical... but this idiot dev had to add some lame pseudo-divine story once again. yuck (now i have bad taste in mouth).
Saves work fine for me, game is not hard (neither too easy), abilities are so uncomplicated that i don't get how anyone could forgot what they do (and enemies have clear descriptions) - i actually enjoyed playng this despite it being a card game. Still, it suffers greatly from card mechanics - they are always filth, period. All is fine at the start, but once cards nr 8 and 9 are added, our pain begins. Especially if we didn't manage to grab something useful (counterattack or piercing shot). It's impossible to survive late fights not getting defence/attack cards exactly at the turn when they are needed.
no menu for visiting specific levels... even if they are not really meant to be repeated separately, it's still a huge flaw. other than that, perfect platformer puzzle.
