Card mechanics automatically mean crap game... the only way to make it somewhat better is setting reasonable hand/deck ratio - i know one card game that can be called enjoyable, it has 4-hand with 8-deck. (yes, i know that cantrip is pretty powerful ability, but that's why it's also expensive, we need it on many, many pieces to not rely on luck, and then we still need other abilities to survive)
in such a grindy AND completely random game where single run means absolutely nothing, rewards that help only in one run seem almost like a slap in the face...
generally well done, but not that much enjoyable, because you know, there's a good reason bullet hell games usually don't have additional obstacles on the screen... solid 4/5
oh my, who would think that it would be not Adobe, but gaming sites the ones who try to kill flash gaming... namely Kong and AG, as i can still play this game on almost every other site.
Ha, hard badge is easier then the medium one... cause of the crappy design and lack of balance. Such a pity - over 30 different towers, and only a few are of any practical use.
The card game that doesn't even play like a card game - which i wouldn't mind as a card mehanics hater, but unfortunately the worst feature of the genre - randomness of drawing from a deck - is present (and it's only 3 card in hand, yuck). No strategy required, just a grind and upgrades, grind and upgrades...
Not as bad as most other parts - when there are no idiotic hidden schemes, planar travels nor divine powers involved, and most importantly no ,,duels", these games can be almost enjoyable. Almost, cause Dregg himself is still terribly lame.
@Wfsatexq, my firefox has no problem with games, but it hates Kong ads, they seem to block games sometimes - maybe others don't realize that it's their problem.
That will be the first time on Kong when i had to change page size. And waht a crappy game is this, pretty much like CotLI minus the humor and most all interesting features, but plus the lag...
Hmmm, at first i thought there's something very wrong with hard badge requirements for course 1. But then i realised some holes can be done in one shot :) Would be much sooner, if only i was able to test power-ups in practice mode for free...
Time-based golf with random events, and frustrating physics... what an unholy combination. Can't remember when i was screaming and cursing so much playing a game...
Early levels are actually the worst - i was really tempted to drop it at lvl 7. But the further you go, the less painful it feels. It seems that blocks don't work as intended (breaking/falling too fast), still it's possible to finish the game :)
If that was only the bout the grind... Unfortunately, it's combined with rather small inventory, why is the encumbrance limit not enough? To make it worse, huge world lacks good way to travel fast (scrolls are not very convenient). No, this game is not cool at all. Playing it for weeks, since i can only stand a small dose daily, before getting thrown away...
Oh, common people, easy badge isn't even luck-based! Tip: you don't get it in a first minute of playing. Work your way up a few levels, make like 20-25 upgrades (just no homers), and suddenly the screen will be full of stuff... Then it's just a bit of skills.
