I don't see how this can deserve more than 1/5 personally and, believe me, I'm really saddened to do it to such a great contributer in the indie scene as Derek Wu.

Ages since I saw such a creative and smart idea for a game; double thumbs up for your originality. The execution could have been more polished, but we can't have everything.

I dunno why everyone says this is a difficult game; even the full version was actually pretty easy. It's maybe hard if you wanna complete each zone without dying, but that isn't the main core of the game.

Would be a good game if it wasn't for such terrible problems, expecially with controls: it's terribly slow, really hard to jump from the very edge of platforms and from ramps, can't jump from zombies heads consistently; also it is possible to get stuck forever if you break an elevator, it is possible to lose a collectable if it falls into a pit, forcing you to restart. Also, why the hell a bomb or a explosive barrel don't explode with a single gun shot? If you are going to make a sequel please sort those problems out, since it has potential to be fun!

Just one single complaint: shooting should be toggle mode, so i don't ave to keep pushed my X key the whole time; other than that, good job!

Yeah, sure, so every game that uses black characters and robots is a ripoff of little wheel; seems a little pretentious from you, begamercom, expecially when you know that using black characters, while interesting, is a lazy choice used to save time in coloring. This game is a different genre, has different visuals, has different smoothness, has different targets. It may be blind to say it wasn't inspired by it, but from this to say he simply copied some parts and put them together as if yourself invented them from nothing is unfair; the difference in quality is still noticeable enough to make people rate this one generally lower.

Great graphics (even if not totally original) and interesting levels; the only annoying thing was that some levels were long enough to be annoying to be repeated from the very start (one of them can take up to 2 minutes); maybe adding some checkpoint would have helped a bit and some better control of the dragging boxes would be appreciated. I really enjoyed the game regardless.

The only good thing in this game is the art and maybe dialogues, but the flaws are totally everywhere to not be noticeable: 1) No savefile, 2) Too much pixel hunting, 3) Short dialogues sometimes hidden some vital clues, 4) the inventory is slow and hard to close; also it always open up with "award", which isn't something a player would probably be interested in, 5) got a lot of dialogues on the wrong characters, 6) the answer to the test show no mercy at all: first answer was wrong because I used lowercase, 4th answer was deemed wrong because I used the wrong number of digits, 7) some things who would feel logical, like using the crowbar or the key on the car, are considered idiot by the main char Needs tons of rework, which is a shame given the potential. 2/5

@Samster: Well it actually HAS the same rating as moneyseize, or close enough at least. And Moneyseize is an all time masterpiece; even if this game is seriously awesomely good, it can't be compared to Godly-good ones.

Very enjoyable; only minor complaint with it is that while playing I actually forget the positions of the "minus" circles when they disappear and that could easily make me mess up during a level. Some alternative solution could be making those transparent or switching them with a dotted line. Great job with the level design anyway.

Sure! So we'd be that idiot not to notice you hacked and reskinned the source code from "Die in a carpet fire"; I usually don't care at all about taking inspiration, but feel free to get a 1/5 from me and all Kongregate community.

After finishing, I can't say this game is really grindy except for the very beginning; after getting like 7 bronzes I went back from start and have beaten all levels with gold with almost no interruptions (I think I failed a couple of times). There is a definite problem that the levels aren't various enough and I've been personally able to beat all of them with 2 basic teams; a more experienced player most likely would be able with just one. Last level in particular was particularly anticlimatic and easy to figure out, assuming a player will reach it with a decent amount of upgrades; I also don't like the possibility to go back to earlier levels without any limitation, making trivial to get gold medals. On the happy side, the levels are much faster than most of other TDs, which is a good trend that I'll like to see in the future.

Really enjoyed it in its simplicity. Shame the mosquito reactions aren't always pitch perfect (sometimes it doesn't manage to grab a wire, sometimes fails to pull a lever and similar). Anyway I would be unnecessarily strict and mean if I'd give it less than 4/5. Will totally look forward your next game.

Glad to see Adultswimgames back to Kongregate and with an unbelievably amazing game. Probably won't get badges, but still 5/5 and favorited. Now go through your archives and give us "Give up robot 2" too please.

Really good game, which it'd totally get full stars from me if it was longer. Also since you give the option to be saved from death with time rewinding, it's worth it to add a little more challenge to it, since we are able to get back from whatever situation with no frustation. The puzzle component was satisfying from the bits we saw. Props to the great music composer too.

This game really didn't need a sequel if that's the result; no new feature is added at all so it feels nothing more than a level pack. The achievements are also too luck based to be remotely interesting; maybe you should have made the guards pattern not random if you wanted to go with them. 3/5

Well, impressive if we consider it to be a 12 hours work, but really too embrional to call it a complete game, even if I'm sure that was your intention from the very start. I'll check it again when more stuff will be added, but basically the following things are pretty much needed: the ability to play again the same loaded song without going through the popup opening menu, more variety in default songs and more work into making the monsters react to the beat of the song. I actually felt like the monsters spawning was totally random; I'm pretty sure they'd be differences between songs, but I'd actually like the monsters to follow the chart of the one I chose more closely. Also: an health bar is always preferred to numbers, the copter should show its hitbox and some more differences as we go up with difficulty should be added. Those are pretty much the very basic features it needs, but I'm sure you'll surprise people with something to spice up gameplay even more.

Boss Battle

I would have preferred it to have auto-targeting, since it isn't too difficult to manage. That way we would have got rid of the mouse and we would have been able to use our dominating hand for maneuvring. Given that choice, since sometimes there actually is the necessity not to kill the boss too fastly to get a power up, you could have add the option to stop the firepower with spacebar. Endless mode also starts really unchallenging; I would have personally liked to have the option to start directly from wave 41 to avoid the boredom of first waves. 4/5
