Even having enjoyed it I have some little complaint: 1) why does Furfur bounce that much it makes quite hard for it to control it without practicing enough?; 2) why do I have to take Nublo every time to the exit since it doesn't actually add anything to the difficulty of the level?; 3) Isn't last level a bit repeatitive? :P Anyway I would be very mean if I rate this less than 4/5.
I must admit this game is technically impressive, anyway I can't say I agree with most of your choices when you programmed this game:
1) Why can't I check the "whole" wave list "before" entering a level instead of just giving an advice on the element? There are a good amount of random levels where I'd love to pick my heroes better.
2) Why are the golds and the exp given every time? Serously that makes this game a grindfeast; repeating the same level over and over. Gemcraft 0 manages this feature much better rewarding the player just basing on the increment of the level score.
Ok this game just shows how close minded some people are. Seriously, is it really that much of an annoyance to use some simple feature on your computer to solve a game? Is it really more frustrating than killing a monster 1 millions times or waiting 2 days for a building to be up as some of the successful games do? If you want to hide your email address there are countles ways to do so, but no this game isn't a conspiration that tries to steal your computer datas. It's just some simple think out of the environment riddle; don't worry your online safety is preserved. Yes I proudly say I enjoyed this game much more than the first episode and more than most games on kong too so 5/5 and favourited.
Ok guys, for whoever lost datas in the infamous update here is the solution for all of you :)
IMPORTANT: Close all of your browsers before doing this operation.
a) Locate in your computer the folder "chat.kongregate.com" (use the search function in windows)
b) Browse the folder ...\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0008\1947\live\
c) Backup the content of the folder (in case there is any problem)
d) You'll see 2 folders inside: transfer the file ECSaveData.sol from ...\TheEnchantedCaveKong.swf\ to ...\TheEnchantedCave.swf\ (overwrite if needed)
Please don't let this comment die :)
This last update sucks so bad; some of the par times are lower than before making it impossible for me to improve my scores on those levels :/ It's not like this balancement made timed stars harder to get so definitely thumbs down from my side.
Great game; ok it's not moneyseize, but it's a great attempt to become as cool as it. I guess we can sometimes get a good game after randomly clicking in friends' favourite ones.
I have waited until I completed the game to post in here. Simply putting it this game is AWESOME; my head had to work quite a lot to figure out all of the levels. Art is simple but efficient; levels are challenging and with an awesome difficulty curve. It's smarter than lightbot, more appealing and immediate than krispykrem's games. Also (even if no one cares) educational, implementing concepts as "finite state machines" in a cute visual environment. This game will get even more awesome if the author will add the kong built-in level sharing.
I dunno. The copyright infringement here is way too much for me to be not noticeable. Level design is EXACTLY the same of the old super mario bros. Same with all the characters' controls and features :/ Also the game is way too slow compared to today's standards. I'll give it a 3/5
I'd sure have loved some little added fancyness (drifting, boost and such), but this is nonetheless a superb game. More than everything else I'm VERY impressed by the precision of the technical implementation; the opponents in the multiplayer do EXACTLY what they did when they played the game on their side (I found in a track challenging myself and I could totally see my style when driving O.O). The track creation reminds the successful scheme seen in the Platform Racing games. Good job.
Awesome, just awesome. Great concept, great level design, challenging stages, a lot of powerups and variety. One breath of frash air in the world of flash gaming. 5/5
I actually found unbelievably fun; it has cute graphics, neat controls, extreme variety between levels and a nice and fast enjoyment. It's probably a bit too easy but that doesn't remove anything on the quality of the product.
You guys are being totally biased while rating this game, why should I even care about the advertisement if it makes me play a well done game for free?
I really don't understand how some people reason. I would complain if I had spent money and the game I got was nothing good. But why the hell are you guys complaining for a game you didn't spend a dime for?
You may definitely not agree with the people that actually think this game is worthy to spend money for, but you can't force the developers to not put buyable content in it. They are even being nice enough to provide the almost totality of the content for free.
How could the coop map be sometimes won by non-NG couples if they didn't have access to anything in this game as you are stating?
Ok I completed the game; actually the ending part with the boss fights is quite funny, so I upgraded my score to 3/5 I still don't get why did you have to put so much grinding in this when it had so much content already to be a full fledged game.
