This lags like crap. I die at level 2 since suddenly everything goes with a frame rate of 0 and my man won't move. I don't have this with other games, but I don't know what causes this.
I've got exactly one death on the following levels: 1-3, 1-4, 2-2, 3-3 and 5-2. This got me the hard badge. People say you can even do 5-2 without a death. I don't think the others are possible without deaths.
Sometimes I have the urge to give this game another chance and then I immediately find out all the things I hated this game for. My air superiority doesn't cancel out enemy airstrikes. Artillery has no counter, it just destroys your army. Grenades come out of nowhere and kill you easily. This all wouldn't be bad, if there weren't *average* ribbons to get. All of that makes it a hated game. I would probably love it if there were no averages on ribbons so that I can't get screwed up on that when having bad luck.
It's fun to have 3 t-rexes and 3 elder dragons (10 power and 9 power respectively) all with +3 action eggs, making them deal an average of 36-40 damage in one turn per beast. Let's add another 3 actions with the fourth brute spell and you can make it 63-70 average damage per beast.
I don't like the lives system. In fact, I'm just a guy who doesn't like to *permanently* lose anything. It's all right if they can die and I have to revive them, but knowing I'm *permanently* closer to losing the game is annoying. It's a cool game, just this one annoyance is pretty tough.
Too bad you have to solve some of these with pure guessing. Especially those puzzles with a huge number of ones and very little high numbers (on 20x20!), there is no possible way to fill in something you know 100% certain.
We should try this in real life. Throw a feather on your enemy and he gets hit by a nuclear explosion, immediately killing off his entire base. This game is pure logic.
Remove all the positive "do this or that in a row" from the awards and this game will be good. I practically hate any game in which luck is the deciding factor whether you will win or not. In the last turn I was about to win, I had 10,500 points, my opponent shot up from freaking -500 points to freaking 11,500. I was trying to go for the imbalanced, frustrating consecutive wins, but THIS messes me up. Remove such awards. This is no fun.
