Okay.. So I did get awards. They only get added after a game, even if it's just about reading the rules or something. Well, my suggestion is to let them add to your awards when you acquire it (if it's not that hard to implement).
Let me be different from the other guys here and complain about the AWARD system. None of them work. Point in case. There's this award called "have you read the rules?". I did. No award. There are these awards with "zilcher" in their name. I've been zilched (however it is called). No awards. Simple.
Sometimes, you need to understand the limits of adding frustration to games. You clearly had no limits. Aside from that, it really is not fun having to watch a heart fall down while it's being surrounded by millions of rockets or while you just died by the boss' laser. With "not fun", I mean "irritatingly stupid". Or let me just say I dislike this game. I actually lost 20 lives at the last boss, my last 20. That's frustration. True frustration.
Uggzly got it right on the spot. If you can do the 2X entries during the first minute, that's all the skill you need for the impossible. After that, it's praying after each jump you get a slide or two. Then, when you're ready to make the big jump, pray you get several slides. If you don't, you don't get the impossible. I dislike such game-breaking luck in games.
I think you have reached your ultimate goal in life, posting "First :D" in a game where your comment would actually be the first when you post it. Awesome.
I don't know about the saves, but forcing you to do some mindless leveling before you can stand a chance against the walking stings in the temple is a bad thing.
Ehrenthedragon, I've got a funnier problem. I've actually got 2 perfects and 7 bronze, but I am in no way able to even get the last one bronze. The sucky thing about scoring is that there's not much difference between bronze, silver, gold and perfect. If you make a few mistakes, you're already below bronze. And it's impossible to hit 8 downs in a very quick order on a game that lags this much. That's why I miss only one perfect in amateur.
This game is not only messed up in the way of being able to LOSE over randomness, but it also does not feature a restart or main menu button. If you would have added the last two and made it so that there is no randomness at all in the game, this would be enjoyable. For now .. no.
Uhm, yeah, okay, I don't see you addressing any of the people who complain about the resetting of scores. If you think it involves skill to get everything maximum without being able to replay them endlessly, you can just say so. I don't like it that way, but that's just my style. I hope others like your game the way I don't (just that minor point restricting me from liking it).
Would love it if your level score doesn't reset the moment you retry the level. Now I won't play any level any more, simply because I'm afraid that I get a lower score (I once did). Please change that. If not, won't feel encouraged to try and better some scores.
Not really, but if that's a hint towards what the word should be, I already solved it. =p In fact, played through the entire game, but not without help. I'm completely crap at guessing words, so I left that to others. Apparently, there are two ways to solve 64. I used the long route, but others used a simpler way.
I've got the exact opposite, very easy puzzle, very hard word. I can't even make one out of S T O R M E N. I needed help back on one level from 0-10, so I really think this game doesn't fit me. I think it's awesome nevertheless, though.
So, all you're doing in Sonny is killing zombies, they drop items, you get the items, and kill some more. Overall, that game sucks? Wait, I don't think you're making any sense at all. Try again.
All right, found out some interesting things about score in this game, so I guess I top both normal and hard now (even though I know it won't be long, knowing hackers). Pretty fun for a short and simple game.
