Great game w/ surprisingly nice graphics. 5/5
Suggestions: More flexibility in customization (string tension, other materials), even if not the most realistic. More variety in enemies, esp for armor (randomly decide whether or not a unit has a particular piece of armor and that piece's material (influences encumberment/defense)). More movement behaviors (paths other than straight lines, occasional infantry formations, heavy armor or injury (esp. leg) slows units). Greater damage spread (damage now seems very consistent & highly reliant on hit part). Take advantage of "3D" look (distant units are slower (parallax) but also take less damage/increase arrow time to hit distant units(current difference is minimal)).
Entirely new facets to consider: Bowmen target player (player has health, armor, & injury/encumberment to impede aim/reload). Allied units. Player must account for gravity. (Perhaps these functions would only belong in higher difficulties.)
Barbarians spend all their time preparing for raids, yet they've never actually pulled one off.
Also, my harvester workers are so stoic, they can be surrounded by barbarian outposts and still work at 100% productivity.
Great game, reminds me of Strike Force Heroes. The only things I'm not particularly fond of are that my classes all use the same equipment and that I have to set each teammate's equipment individually. The easiest solution would be to implement a separate loadout for each class. (So there would be 4 different sets of equipment, and the player can edit each one individually. Teammates would be given their class-specific loadout.)
There are some annoying bugs, but what I find most irritating is when I send a gigantic army to wipe out a barbarian outpost, and they leave one guy alive. There's 95% of my guys left, but they got down to one barbarian and said "That's all for today." So now there's an entire outpost left for one lonely guy, and I have to send another attack. What bullshit. There should be an option for my armies to fight to the death.
I usually don't get into this kind of game, but this one stands out. It's well balanced and polished. Starting up doesn't take too long. The screens update in realtime. It runs smoothly even on this old machine. The text doesn't look like it was put through Google translate. What's not to like?
Sure the controls are clumsy, but that's half the fun! The other half comes from cutting his ribs with the hammer, removing his lungs with the hammer, severing his blood vessels with the hammer, and pushing the new heart into his chest cavity along with some q-tips and the cup they came in with the hammer.
Well. It's possible to kill a single turret by teleporting it into the path of its own bullet... Beware! If you kill the only turret in a puzzle which requires it, you might need to restart the entire level.
Piece of shit keeps on disconnecting me. Everyone starts walking in place and can't be killed. It's not making the "kill 150 people with the shittiest main wep in the game" any easier.
Repair cost is bullshit. With a ScarL and SigSauer and a KDR a little bit over 1, I earned 1456 credits over 2 matches but repairs cost 911 for the Scar and 35 for the SigSauer. I, as an average player, only get to keep 35% of what I earn? Ridiculous.
The thumbnail picture under "Hot New Games" says "MEGACTIY". Is that some kind of an inside joke? I haven't started the game yet. If not, you might want to correct that.
I like it too, thank you : )
