At first I said "Wow, it's pretty dangerous for these kids to be running in the street." But then we killed a few thousand aliens and suddenly cars don't matter anymore. Also, there's a bug with pause. While paused, you won't shoot, but your shots will still charge (or reload). So abusing pause will get you a higher fire rate at the cost of... convenience.
What most impressed me about Intrusion, and continues to impress me here, is the interaction and motion of objects. The way wolves grip the terrain is incredible; I could not even imagine how that was programmed. Indisputable 5/5 and favorite. That being said, the greatest mistake in the game is... calling it a demo. Nobody likes to hear that they're not getting the full package. For those who haven't started playing yet, the first level alone is enough for a small game. Perhaps a better choice would have been to call this the full version and the extra levels "paid content", unlockable after beating the last free level. That way, the only people who will see that there's more to be had will be the players who most want it.
Infinite damage: Use the teleporting portals. Place one on the ceiling and on on the floor. Make them slightly not aligned. When the dummy falls through, he'll take some damage from hitting the floor, then he'll slide right back into the portal to repeat it. Very slow infinite damage. Speedhack if impatient.
I like the feel of the game, but it really needs crouching and a campaign. I think weapons should also be selectable by numbers 1-4. More maps would be great, especially if they were larger and taller. Consider indoors? I'd like to be able to choose infinite time/score for deathmatch, and I want the default weapon to apply to everyone. Perhaps also different game modes (CTF, LMS/FFA, Territories). After a while in a deathmatch, the weapons pile up and I can't tell what's what.
The game should auto-save. If it's not, you probably either didn't allocate enough data space or you blocked the game from saving cookies. If it's the first, you can right click, go to "Settings", click the folder icon, and set data permissions to unlimited. If it's the second, well that's a bit more complicated and there's no universal solution. Check your browser settings and don't play on Incognito.
You guys, "server maintenance" is just the message shown when the server traffic is too high to connect you. There's no real maintenance, so stop bitching about it and just refresh.
Yes, you are right, the "Sound" turns off the music, too, to let the player silence the game quickly.
