Found numerous other bugs since my last comment. When you get game over and then click Reply or go to the main menu and then select play, the game doesn't actually reset block drop speed. I'm at "Level 1" with only the 3 starting colors but the blocks fall NON STOP. I made it to level 2 and it's impossible to click fast enough to win. I actually had to close the browser window and open it back up in order for it to actually reset to the real level 1. Also, sometimes you'll lose without the 10 second countdown. More major flaws.
This could be a great game if it weren't for these very major problems.
It feels really unresponsive. Sometimes I have to click 2 or 3 times before it registers. Not only that, but colors that ARE touching don't register right away. It takes a few seconds and sometimes you have to mouse off and then back onto a color in order for it to register all the adjacent blocks of that color. Both of these issues are pretty major flaws in my eyes bringing this down to a 3/5 for me.
Great game, it's just too bad it took 22 levels to get challenging. The last level only took me all of about 2 minutes to complete. Definitely needs a level pack and a level editor. Would have gotten a 5/5 from me if it were more challenging and / or longer. 4/5
4/5 because of the weird ass controls. Also, what's that thing waiting for you when you beat the game as the giant chicken? I couldn't make out what it was supposed to be.
"It may look strange, but freezing an object makes it levitate. It's because gravity gnomes refuse to work in sub-zero temperatures. However, like any gnomes, they'll start working again if you punch them a little."
This is classic.
4/5 Solid game, none of the levels were too difficult to complete however a few of them are annoyingly frustrating to get 100% on and some were arbitrarily long. For instance, the pac man level could have been a little shorter.
One feature I'd like to see is that, for example, if I mark a spot as a 5 because I think there is a level 5 creature then if I click that spot and I'm BELOW level 5 have nothing happen. That way if I accidentally click on something that I think is higher than me I won't lose. Kind of like putting a flag in the real Minesweeper.
This game has a pretty good concept but very poor level design. Most levels I could easily skip the intended path with just one or two bombs. Other levels were ridiculously difficult because they were so unintuitive that I couldn't tell what the designer had intended so I just randomly exploded bombs until I found a way through the chaos. I would give it 4 stars for the concept but I have to subtract one for bad level design. 3/5
So I idled all day and night and made it to level 32. Now I open the game up and I'm back to level 23. This is the second time. Why do I keep reverting? Fix this and let me know when it's fixed because I won't be back to this game until it is.
