Puzzle at the end with the 5 sliding switches doesn't work. Even checked the walkthrough after I couldn't get it. Also, you stole "room" screenshots from other places. I've noticed that you make these escape rooms with thievery from other people. Think I'll be reporting you to as many as I can identify.
Like the other guy said, that one spot is really hard to notice. Everything else in the game stands out against the background and is far too easy to spot. The only challenge was finding the math spot. The end music was also ripped off of Silent Hill: Homecoming. I wonder what Konami would think about that.
I only had one complaint with the story which the author had already considered based on what was written in the afterword, but I feel the religious over-tones were overdone. The basic premise is the contention between the AI and one of the creators. The creator believes that the the machine must have been created with a soul because it is sentient, but the machine believes that it has no soul and therefore humans must just be a type of machine - no soul needed. It would have been great if it were left at that. That's more than enough philosophy to fill up a lot of time thinking about and it's just mystical enough to make for an engaging story, but it just kept pushing towards real-world religion which was just a huge turn off.
The only other complaint that I had has nothing to do with the story, but that all of the locations look very much the same and it was *very* easy to get lost. A map or more distinct locations would have gone a long way to cutting out some of the frustration.
It would be nice if the gems slowly drifted towards the bottom of the screen. The magnet is alright, but if you're killing everything right at the top edge and you fly up to get them, you have a good chance of getting hit by new enemies showing up.
Thx for playing and the comment. Keep posted! I am doing a pretty big update and gem collection is getting eliminated. They will collect themselves after half a second. Also adding an endless mode for end game content plus a hardcore option for people who want more challenge. I'm going to pull a couple of late nights to try and get this out by Saturday.
First playthrough was 3:12 in-game timer. Super short, super easy. Bad English ("I don't want to get bite!"). Not even worth it as a time waster. Good beginners puzzle I suppose.
It's plays like a text based adventure game. "There are three paths here. Which one do you choose?" with some random and unavoidable deaths which is not fun at all and not very good design. Encountered the same duplicate button bugs as others have mentioned. I both died and solved a puzzle at the same time which allowed me to keep going. Took all of 90 seconds to complete after you figure out which choices instantly kill you and which ones don't.
Nothing bad about it, but nothing really great, either. All of the escape games from this developer are a lot alike. Very attractive visuals (and lots of copyrighted imagery in this one!) and decent music. The puzzles are not very difficult, but sometimes the solutions might be a bit obtuse. I hated the "bonus" stars. They floated around and were hard to click on and made me angry.
Fun. Simple. A little on the easy side. The music and ocean sounds are very soothing as well. Hopefully there will be more to come. This concept could get very tricky and it would be great to do some more difficult puzzles.
I love escape games, but the massive amount of low quality games churned out to lure people to a website filled with 800 thousand advertisements on it is a scummy thing to do.
