From the comments I've read, you can tell who played the original Zelda (gold cartridge) and who hasn't...lol. "I can't find the weapons" - "I don't know what to do next." Funny stuff. Where would they be without the internet? Lost...
I like the game, but PLEASE don't use the names of real guns unless you know what they really do. I would take a .45 over a 9mm any day. And all double action gas operated handguns have the same fire and reload rate in real life.
Great game. I beat it on normal with a fully upgraded main gun (no HP upgrades though), fully upgraded drones, and four fighter bays with max fighters, max fire rate, and as much damage as I could afford. After the first or second chapter, it was just a patience game. My only gripes are 1) AUTO FIRE (duh!) and 2) Couldn't read the story as I was too busy not auto-firing.
@Plague Jester - you need to hit the "end turn" button. --- I am not having the "attack failed" problem that everybody else is. But I also see that a lot of those failed attacks actually happen when the enemy counter attacks me. that and I upgrade my guys relevant stat.
@Sunderas - Most maps have a turn limit. If you don't achieve your objectives by then, you lose.
@GPMC - My light infantry rock at high levels. I'm playing elves.
@Detritus - Upgrade your troops and they won't fail at their attacks.
I don't know why people are complaining about the failed attacks. Especially when the creatures fail at about the same rate. Maybe they are not upgrading their units? My veteran units (4+ battles) are kicking ass and taking names. Watch out for those ogres though...
I really want to play this game (still), but it's one hell of a resource hog. And before any of you retards tell me to get a better computer, my hardware is current to modern specs yet it's still pushing my processor to around 70%...
Physics seem fine to me. I did notice that sometimes (not all the time), a ball might hit a corner rail at a pocket and bounce out when it should typically go in. I am playing this on my laptop with no problems. It's not like an action game or something. And yeah, the table does seem slow, as in the balls stop rolling quicker than in real life. All in all, a good game.
Challenge 6 ruins the challenges. Certainly not worth 25 points to wait until you get lucky enough to either not die or run out of time. Full health might make it doable, but I'm not wasting any more time waiting for the planets to align.
Graphics and animations are good. But the actual gameplay of "hunt for the hotspot" sucks. Puzzles are more "guess what I'm thinking" rather than putting clues together and figuring out a solution. 2/5
@aivdov: Your country must suck. Honestly, what kid is going to listen to a rating anyways? If you don't want your kids to play games like this (or any other for that matter), you should probably be spending time with them instead of letting them go where ever they want on the internet.
WOW!!! It's like that drifting game only with acid and happy sperm. Whoever told you about "acid oozing on the inside" should probably go visit a doctor. Soon.
