A tip for those going for the hard badge: you can press escape and restart the day any time before the end-of-day window pops up. Handy if you've found yourself stuck in a box after 999 feet and want to try again - just be quick to hit the button when your car stops.
For anyone struggling with the medium badge: the cheats don't prevent unlocking survival mode, and 25 kills in survival mode is much easier than surviving mobs of enemies in story mode.
To anyone who's come down to the comments to figure out why it's started with a black screen, scroll back up: I've fixed it for you! Or maybe you just had to wait a few seconds. One or the other.
For level 10, there's a way that requires no racing: put two standing boxmen on the floor just above the bottom, with the left standing one on the deactivated sawblades, and another boxman running back and forth between them (leave a little space). Then go back up the top, jump over the nearby lever, push the button and return to flip that lever twice. Now you can just sit back and watch the runner finish the level for you.
@KenobiLover If you're still struggling with that acrobatic feat you mentioned, please note that there's another solution to that level. No single-pixel-balancing required.
For those who find themselves scrolling down the page instead of using weapons: make sure you're not clicking the black areas above and below the game. Easy to do accidentally while trying to avoid stuff.
Also, if you hate the game: don't play it. Kong seems to be on its way out (no longer accepting new games: click the "Upload your Game" link at the bottom of the page for proof), so your levels, blocks and kongpanions will probably be irrelevant in a few months (really, the levels always were). Besides, the current Kongpanion looks better in the non-shiny form.
Tips:
You can train every stat to 1000 (before equipment), so any animal works.
Focus on reactions and speed, and keep your health from dropping too low (doesn't need to be capped). Stamina doesn't matter because it applies over time, not distance, and if you're fast enough you can finish every race before it matters. More agility than you need to jump a single hurdle is unnecessary (though it may be fun to jump over the entire race).
Don't be afraid to click the "skip race"; it isn't a quit button, just completes the race instantly.
Cheats:
Before your first race, returning to the main menu and then continuing seems to put your money back at 300, but keeps your stats. You should be able to train to olympic-level before actually racing, if conscience permits.
There's a bug with the Go Faster Stripe shirt in the shop; you can keep clicking it to raise your speed by 20 each time, so you can make a mockery of what little challenge this game holds. I won't judge you (out loud).
@Eppie_Spacely It isn't random: add the arrows together to find the next box (so if it has 1 down and 3 right, you click the box 1 down and 3 right). Remember to count empty spaces too.
My advice: don't even try to win on your first attempt. Just spend a little time getting used to the controls (such as they are), and the easy badge should then become mildly annoying at worst.
To anyone complaining about enemies spawning on top of them: just watch out for the barely-visible spawning animation with the faint circles moving inward (for your convenience, these are coloured almost identically to the many explosions and the visual effects of your shots striking not-yet-dead enemies). Don't forget to simultaneously watch out for attackers zooming in from the edge of the screen. Unless you have a visual system designed for focusing on a specific area instead of processing all incoming data at once, you should be fine.
Oh, wait, this is meant to be played by biological organisms such as humans? Never mind.
I repeatedly got stuck in the side walls of the big pit in level 10 and 20. Seemed to be random - I was grateful for the restart option, and eventually got through.
When digging, start in the corner, so whatever number you get will have fewer possibilities (e.g. a 1 in the middle of the island means 16 options, while a 1 in the corner gives maybe 5 (irregular corners can mean fewer)). Your second click should be one of these golden chest possibilities (you might get lucky), but pick one on the "edge" of these, for the same reason. You'll still fail often, but this strategy helps a lot.
I can't seem to talk to 12 of the people in the bonus section (the row of 6 Sivans, and the people between Mariana and the Pyromiles on the bottom row). Might this be a bug?
@slavsquat69 I have to wonder where you got the impression Michiko was Maoti's "childhood sweetheart" - she may have been attracted to him, but I never got any sense he viewed her as more than a friend. Really, the only attraction I noticed him showing (before meeting Corvus) was to... fire. Hmm... and now he's with a fiery guy? That might explain some of it. Also, of course, Corvus was literally Maoti's "dream man" (and vice versa).
As to it seeming "unnatural", though - well, maybe? There did seem to be some divine meddling involved in the story as a whole, so why not here?
Finally: even if Maoti had been in love with a girl, that wouldn't rule out being him being capable of attraction to men (though it would've meant him getting over her rather quickly).
Because the game doesn't make this obvious enough: holding down or s (depending on your controls) prevents sticking to walls (you can also press it while on a wall to let go). This can be vital in a few places where even a brief delay may be fatal.
Both mute and the ability to change keys (including making j no longer fire) are in options. You have to scroll down to reach the other control sets, though, which may not be obvious.
