Great game but too short. the strategy mode is a nice addition, but i didnt like the way in which I could not amalgamate my forces. the catapult level is a bit silly. theres no way you can hit the balls unless you are lucky. the final boss fight didnt take me too long to do either and there isnt much in the way of strategy because of the jerky nature of the animation, but all in all, its pretty fun, although I probably wont play it again
disappointing. the control system is pretty naff to be honest. you spend more time micro managing the production of vehicles with no way to control them, so it becomes a game of attrition rather than require any skill or strategy to play. being able to set a rally point would be better, but that deosnt excuse the terrible sound effects ruining everything. i ended up half deaf playing this through to level 7
Nice, sort of reminiscent of Fez without the 3d and some of the most popular platformers over the years. The music reminds me of Metroid with its nicely understated twinkly liquid melodies. Everything about this screams quality, and its no mean feat to make something this slick. Im not really a platform fan myself, but |I have played some of the greats over the years since the days of the commodore 64 and Impossible Mission kept me coming back again and again. This game, although not long enough to fall into that bracket, is well done and should entertain long enough. Well done!
the level progression is terribly difficult the further you get into the game, and unlike a human player, when you have multiple enemies, the AI can operate faster than you can, launching multiple fleets at your vunerable planets faster than you can counter attack them, so the AI's aggression is a bit flawed. I have found little use for the slider at the bottom of the screen. this would have been far better as a turn based game, or have some sort of upgrades available for you fleets. a good game, but nothing we havent seen in the previous Solarmax
Upgrade system is cool, but on my 2nd day of playing, ive exhausted the upgrades, travelled ok 700k, got all the kongpanions i can, 99% of achievements and im a bit bored now.
Dont get me wrong, its up to the usual JMTB02 game quality with the music, the graphics and the ease of use, but its needs variety and end game content
There is no logic to how this game works. if you start the game and sell all effects of the virus, it will still detect the infection in countries all across the world. countries also react to new infection methods even when the disease is completely invisible to the world. the fact that its blind luck if Madagascar ever gets infected which means no matter what you do, its never going to effect the outcome.
superlative and fluid. an amazing game in itself, but the real beauty of this is that its an advert for a fully developed independent FPS. Now THATS worth anyones time!
Brilliant! its like playing Heroquest all over again! Simple game mechanics mixing game genres without trying to be a card game, and extremely easy to play but a long time to master! One gripe is the non removal of chests after you have emptied them. they still appear on the dungeon map regardless. other than that, i'm really enjoying this and i keep coming back to it. I would consider adding extra dungeons to this periodically just to keep people interested, and maybe a follow up game in future with additional abilities/items, etc. Still, a very effective game that does a lot with a little and still manages to entertain! well done!
Try to use the tactical pause feature: press spacebar, and then issue an orders to your troops.
