Wow. I got bad luck. I just had 12 Losses out of 15 matches because it "randomly" chose my unfilled row so many times in a row out of all the other rows it could have chosen. Moved me from 100-200 to 500-600. That sucks.
Whoohoo! Another update with the works!
Just when I thought I was done, new species to get.
No more 88 clicks per second.
Added the well needed Claim all button.
Added a clear board button and stats.
Added two new 'sciences' for the previous final two species.
Thanks! Keep up the good work!
Nice game. I've played on and off over time all the way back to the old UI. This game has added so much since then. Thanks. The one thing it still needs is a MAX NEXT button that automatically buys buildings up to the highest number of upgrades that it can unlock but not more. Otherwise, great game. Keep it great!
Using the alert() function for much beyond debugging is most of the time bad form. Please change for saving game. Also, not rendering sprites doesn't seem to impact performance.
Or at least reduce the number of clicks. 6 or 7 clicks PER CLASS! 1 to open menu, 2 to claim class, and 4 to start next class! Half of this time is spent waiting for the menu to come into view since it fades in, which wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many clicks. I like the game! Please fix this though!
Based on the downvoting of my previous comment, I assume people want to keep the daily rewards. Still, several people, myself included, are having issues playing the game in that it seems to crash when collecting the daily rewards or upon startup. I have tried on chrome and on firefox. I do want to play, so please fix this.
Game dev, your rating is going down. Please fix what is wrong with the daily bonus section. Heck, maybe just removing it it allows us to play the game. It's a nice game otherwise.
Okay seriously, exactly WHAT is this game doing that it is using up so much disk IO CONSTANTLY writing to my HDD? This is entirely unnecessary. (If it were reading, I would suspect data mining). Surly the game doesn't need to save that much.
Also, on a side note, offline quests don't always seem to progress for me. At times I think they do but at times I don't think they do. I haven't paid enough attention though to know what causes this.
@Kyudos (& Holiday)- I read your comment, and I can see where you're coming from. Not everyone likes the RNG, and it gets frustrating when you spend much time and still have nothing to show for it. I think the odds are a bit low myself, but the even as a feature with RNG is fine. (Much better than the last event at any rate).
That said, careful management should keep you from having excess materials. After my last spree, I have only 36 sleds, 9, hats, 29 ginger men, and 46 globes, which is not that much excess. I want to make it a point that different Idle games might implement different features that aren't for everyone. Take a look at "Anti-Idle: The Game" if you want a different take on idle games. It's full of RNG, but never super unfair RNG which is the key.
I thank the devs for continuing to work on this game, and wish them a Merry Christmas too.
Diamonds increase profits gained. You get them by "Choosing a Successor" in the SE tab. You use them by buying the upgrade that costs 5 gold for them. You get the upgrade by completing quest ten. You unlock quests by spending ore on the question mark upgrade. Yes this should be in the description somewhere.
Thank you developers for listening to our concerns and continuing to make this a better game. I know I harped on you guys a lot about the old card based event system, but I really did, and do, like your game. Thank you for fixing it, and keep up that dev spirit!
To everyone claiming that they removed the blue stone conversion, they did not. You need to unlock it, presumably by buying all the other stuff that the exotic merchant has. I still have it because I already bought everything in the exotic shop.
Also, thanks again devs for getting rid of the rigged card system. Even if the chances of getting a gem is still as low as before, now we don't have to deal with all of the crystals we "could" have received.
This is much better than the rigged card system. I don't care if the odds are higher or lower, I like not getting taunted by goodies I can never have. I'm returning to 5/5.
