Oi. The wave after the boss wave isn't supposed to come until AFTER the boss's minions have been destroyed. Here I was finishing off the boss quickly, only to get smothered by way too many other units.
You know what separates the good (puzzle) games from the bad ones? A story. No, I don't mean it has to be some novel, but take Mario for example. Would going through all those levels be quite as much fun if you didn't have any reason to do them? This just feels like a bunch of (fine) puzzles for no reason, not a game.
Oddly enough, the very last door I checked in the last bonus mission was the level completion door... I even went into the large area and fought all the enemies first!
The game is way too dark. I had to increase the brightness of my monitor to max to be able to see. This caused me to have to enlarge the window to not be completed blinded by outside the game, which caused the game to lag like hell when there were a lot of zombies at once =\
Let's see... the average combo is about 3.... there are 3 enemies that have 6 armor and do 4 damage.... and all the previous levels are gold stars. Yeah, you've got to be kidding me.
What could have been a great game ruined by the fact that it was little more than I-Spy with really hard to find objects. Why waste drawing skills on that? In fact, the programming skills were there as well (platforming). So why of all things did it have to be I-Spy?!
Doomsday31415, thank you for your appreciation. Guess what? I plan to be alive for 5, 10, 20, 30, 50+ more years. "Memohuntress" is not the last game I will make. What ever "Memohuntress" is, it's going to be a stepping stone for what I'll do tomorrow. I did not regret working on this game. It has never been done before and the pay was great. Wait until I make real games! Cya!
You have got to be kidding me. You have to get lucky on not one but THREE "rounds" in order to get 3 stars?! Might as well say "pick a card" and hope for the best.
