A lot of these unlocks need rebalancing or re-looked at to make it so newbies aren't conflicted or confused why they exist in the first place. Example you get to challenge the first leader but immediately feels impossible at the time you can. Synthlab is pointless without a big boost (christmas event). Seeing crafts like cloak of invisibility that could make players believe they need to grind for days in one area before the very first season goes. It just all over the place, I like the game but this can easily discourage players.
Before I forget, it might be helpful to have a event timer so everyone knows how long this last before it leaves. right now it might start a mad rush to get to the end cause there no timer to indicate when it be gone.
Oof, I thought alpha pins not counting against the bag space was there so idling was actually more possible but now it no longer a thing, I gonna have to check it pretty often. I realize there things to improve bag space but I won't be seeing those till later.
There a tutorial button for the leader menu but it doesn't work right, not only does it not tell you anything about leaders, the buttons are from the help menu, clicking these from leader screen doesn't work atm
The XP rate for bosses got really bad and forced into a static amount somehow, I used to get 15k in the wave I used to farm. Now even at wave 80+ the big boss only gives 3001, it never improves no matter how many waves i advance.
Having the same problem, the prestige just kills it for me, while i do think it requires a bit of activeness to really progress, the prestige makes this worse. I don't like the idea that no matter what i do, I got to almost start over to get another prestige tier going and i was discouraged just on the 2nd one. Idk how anyone will tolerate doing this to the end.
maybe just me and I just not seeing the real benefit here, but the fact I got to pay for a "activation fee" and that goes up quite a bit when I level up a boost makes me prefer I just don't level the boosts at all or use them for that matter.
Good point. I originally put the activation fee in to discourage users from swapping boosts in-and-out (e.g., slot in a discount boost when you want to upgrade, slot in a production boost otherwise, etc), but it ends up in users simply saving their discovery points for blueprint upgrades. Am trying to think of a better solution :)
Just a QoL improvement, it doesn't have to be there, its fine if it not possible but it be nice to know when we no longer able to improve certain research. Like for example, the efficient upgrades, if i have 10/10, it probably be good to see a different outline to the circle to know its maxed so I don't have to look and see if i gotten max amount per each research.
I should've mention you do have to have all tiles green before it let you jump that way. Also this should've been a one time deal, needing to prove i can solve the lightning puzzle 2-3 more times when nothing changed just make it repetitive.
Trial of lightning is weird, I not even sure if its intended that (with my grenade launcher) you can shoot the portal and activate them even if you can't get to it. Also it finicky, sometimes you can even double dip get two tiles at once which can make you fail if you not being very careful in your movement.
Been playing awhile myself, same issue, you just raid, raid, raid, trying to get more cards cause that the fastest way and after you reach around raid #60 (#40 if no blazon) the gold buildings are useless. Would be nice if could reset and it auto does each fight (as well as speed it up) till you lose so it least a little faster since you mentioned mix of "idle" but i honestly don't see it and this would give least some idle to the game if you going for that.
I really not sure why you scale the traveling merchant the way you did. 52b for a single card when one battle only gives around 110m? Yeah, ok, by the time i get that much, he'll be long gone. This is at a time that gold income in castle is ENTIRELY useless even if have a blazon.
ok, nvm, i got it wrong, apparently you can't set up a 5 man defense, just 4 (my bad there on info gathering, again). I mean, I can get why, your blazon goes, you lose the 5th member. But if you gonna limit that even for blazon members, just take the 5th member out entirely when on offense. I know the pvp reward not that great or needed, but should still try to have a even playing field.
I just realize you could do the hold mouse button thing for upgrades reading the comments here, but nothing in game tells you that less i missed it. Also it feels weird that in one form of pvp, (the raid one) you can bring a 5th member, but the arena will not even if you have the blazon, that a bit of a weird design choice there.
Srsly needs a buy a whole level button, the fact you need to hit the button several times PER each upgrade levels you want really makes it hard on you when doing many re-runs
I feel like the way the game is made, it feels too much like we would want 1 enemy spawn only when getting back up floors, but 6 enemies at all cost from there as each one have their power split, sadly there no way to control that. Its a little bit RNG if you make it to the very next floor or not, getting a single enemy that super powerful on your highest is pretty much doom the run instantly if you trying to push.
Its too bad it ended already, it was pretty fun distraction to have. I would say if do another game (or update, idk), would like to see maybe upgrade paths and maybe interesting twist to boss fights. The defense mechanic was interesting, it just unfortunate it not necessary till much later.
I feel like eventually the Vans will get nerfed (but it feels un-intentional anyways), just cause the synergy effect for them carries over between reset. So overnight with ships going, your vans will suddenly do 2 billion per sec if you run ships at super speed during those overnight runs.
Planetary evacuation is hard for me to play atm, it lags crazy hard when so many orange particles start to happen. Idk if that just me or not since eventually you can get like 200 shuttles and crazy speed if wanted to.
