Just finished mission 10 and didn't get the cheev >:O The game is great, the only thing I would add is the ability to drag the mouse for selecting units, other then that absolutely great
Fun idea and a good start but a bit of a let down. You spend 15 levels showing how clever the game is, then you get to a level like 16 where NONE of the cool stuff you've showed us works. The game should have one type of textbox that can do all the different functions, but limit the letter count, making it so you cant type the full command on certain levels so you cant use it on that level
This is a let down. I liked these games because they used to let you approach it form many different angles, now you're pigeon holing the players into doing levels the way you want them done. Also the physics in regards to the rubber platforms sucks.
The game is simple but fun, but gets a bit tedious, it needs some random drops aside from the normal loot I think. Something like an "Ancient Sword" you find every so often that immediately upgrades the item to the next step, it would add some flavor to the tedium.
One of the many games with a great concept but poor execution. Its one thing to make the game challenging, its another one to make it ridiculous. I shouldn't have to place exactly the right towers at the right time to win, lower the difficulty so there's some wiggle room in strategy.
Another suggestion, to help reduce the exp grinding of the game, any left over gold at the end of a level should get turned into xp at a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio. This rewards the player for having good strategy and spending properly, rather then just carpeting the map with towers.
Fun game, but it would be great if it had two things. First a mana based spell that allows you to turn any square into a meta spot that can host any tower. Second, the option to build walls or obstacles on the running surface. That would make this game perfect.
Maybe add in some random unique items you can fish up? Things that dont really help you directly, but give you a little more info. A list of maximum market prices would be nice. Or maybe skips for the math test, or bags of money. Just random other things to break up the monotony
Also, if you aren't going to include a defense upgrade, maybe the option to buy anchors, and in fairness make the price constantly increase. First anchor is 100, second 250, third 500, ect ect
