Great game, a nice remake on an old usually very boring concept, very awesome. Only thing I could think of adding would maybe be a fast forward button? Hold down spacebar to increase the movement rate. That way when you're trying to get that three star rating you dont go out of your mind waiting for the ideal line up!
Great game, simple an fun, besides a few of the already noted issues, one thing Im curious about with the perk system, is wether or not a perk that doesnt specifically state "each level gives you X" is an incremental increase, or do you get the bonus only once you've put X/X points in?
I love the artwork and the tweak in concept from this type of turret defense game but the upgrades are all wrong.
Chain lightning should be an "affects all target in range" type of thing and then subsequent upgrades should increase the range, cause Ive yet to see mine hit more then 4 targets cause by the time you can afford rank 2 you're getting tougher enemies but not tons of enemies.
The mini coil needs a tweak too. Its damage at rank one seems fine, its weakness is that it doesnt shoot very often, so rather then up the damage maybe make it a "miniature coil array" and each lvl adds another smaller coil increasing fire rate, with the end result being nearly unending bolts, but maybe dial back the power from what it is now. As an un-manned defense you should use it to kill stragglers and weaker units, it shouldnt be able to drop the big guys by itself.
A like the building progression, though keeping each step hidden kinda hinders you because you dont know whats the best path to go, you're just stabbing blindly which isnt good when your resources are limited. Also, you're basically forced to upgrade your weapon immediately or you get overwhelmed. Dont put in an upgrade system that lets you choose if you dont really have a choice.
Great game, simple, yet challenging, but some keyboard short cuts, or key held toggling for abilities would be nice. A few times I went to go shut out a light and headshotted someone and ran myself out of cycles because of that
Very fun game, but there are a few issues I saw. Firstly, it REALLY needs to be stated that money resets after every round. I was busy saving up hundreds until a few lvls in I realized I was getting bumped back down at the beginning of each round. Secondly, Engineers need love, most of what they get has a minor affect on the gameplay, where as the other two get major game changers. Maybe a new tower?
Very fun game, I like that everything is normalized, all bugs do one damage, all bugs give 5 gold, and I love that you can sell back additions for full price so you can play around a little bit.
A couple things I noticed, first when you use a power-up (slow specifically) it puts the little old man animation over top of your cannon for a few seconds and it becomes very difficult to see where your aiming.
Secondly, homing missiles seem a bit... well dumb. Most of the time they just fly off and dont come close to hitting anything
