Update to my last comment; since "tasks" grant additional XP and that can vary depending on how you play a level, it'd still be nice to have a readout of how much of a level's "base" XP (i.e. what you earn by killing enemies and preserving gates and your base" you've managed to earn. Which if you've earned a "perfect" rating pretty much just means the enemies killed XP. You...you know what I mean. Basically I want some indication of whether it would be a good idea to replay a level that I've already won "perfectly" to squeeze in a couple more XP.
I'd like a readout of my XP on a given level compared to the maximum possible XP. Because you can get a "perfect" rating on a level but not get maximum XP if, say, some of the enemies escaped.
I like it. It's like Corporation, Inc. except without the soul-crushing late-game lag. Still not sure what the "theme" of my hotel is, though. I mean, not that "really snazzy hotel with a lot of amenities and eight hundred elevator shafts" isn't a good idea, it's just not what I'd call a theme.
Ooh, a game about female empowerment! "Oh, please date me, hot guy!" "Sorry, babe, not until you work your ass off and make a ton of money and build an enormous ski resort to my exact specifications." "Oh yes, right away! I will do this because my entire self-worth clinches on your affections!"
Ok, seriously, the game is all right but the flippy thing is so annoying it's painful. Please do something about it. Make it a simple control reverse, replace it with some other power-down, get rid of it entirely, I don't care. Because if not I've figured out my own way to get rid of it: the back button on my browser.
Wow, bug. Once you've gotten all the achievements, refresh the game each time you complete a wave. You'll get 13 more upgrade points every time you continue! Do this a couple of times and you'll max out.
So remember, friends: brake slowly, accelerate slowly, take your foot off the gas when you go airborne, and slow down to allow any giant zombies clinging to your hood to slide down beneath your vehicle. These simple changes to your driving habits can improve your fuel economy by up to fifty percent!
YOU: "Look, I know it's the apocalypse and all, and I know it's rough terrain, but I still think it's weird that you don't have a single car that can travel more than three quarters of a mile on one tank of fuel." MECHANIC: (pocketing screwdriver the he has just been jabbing at a fuel tank) "You callin' me a liar?"
Seems to me the real evil during a zombie apocalypse isn't the zombies, but rather the faceless survivalists that keep charging you now-worthless paper currency for the equipment to upgrade your crap.
A necromancer mage pretty much rocks everything. You can summon a warrior (spirit) or elemental mage (demon), giving your party more firepower and the enemy one more target to divide their attention. Then you can learn Heal All and your crew will be basically invincible.
Would be nice if the game auto-saved after each battle. I keep feeling the need to run out of an area and back in after each fight so I don't have to redo half a dozen fights if I lose. I like the game overall. Still needs some interface improvements but I have to admit the gameplay itself is challenging.
You like zombies? Okay! You like fantasy? No problem! all for your viewing pleasure! :)
