ADD EVERY "PORTAL GROWTH" CARD YOU HAVE TO THE DECK AND MAKE SURE YOU CAN PRODUCE ENOUGH CRYSTALS TO USE THEM ALL. Also include some Reaper's Bounty cards for the soul cost of Portal Growth, Crystal Fountains and Ancient Gold mines. JUST ONE Repair card is needed at the end to finish the game at full health.
this game has been acting corrupted recently - black screen, random freezes during battles (NOT with excessive units on the field at once), and I just saw everyone start running in place and rapidly shuffle their costume options like a kid was flipping through one of those mix/match split-page books!
I BROKE THE GAME: Fighting shard guardian w/a ranger and had the storm rune activated (knock-back). The result is the guardian pushed off the edge of the room and apparently into the rock wall where I can't hit him with my bow! My mage mercenaries are chipping away at him but he keeps using a 2k heal spell so this is becoming a perpetual motion machine of sorts... will have to exit and lose all unsaved progress because of this!!!
BALANCE SUGGESTION: Summons' stats should REALLY scale with character level - as it is, they are TOTALLY USELESS in the boss fight. Not very useful would be realistic, but no skill should become a complete waste of a turn and mana/stamina at any point in the game.
Summons are pretty powerful in all fights, they either take a hit that you character would receive or do some damage on their own. Either way I feel your pain and will be working to fix this problem today with the badge update.
EXPLOIT - building +% effects remain after you destroy them. this means you can build as many shrines/markets/towns as you have money to buy them with ON A SINGLE SPOT and every time you build it your damage/etc. keeps going up! (NOTE: this will definitely NOT work with army unit buildings.)
Castle Battles are simple if you use all extra building spaces for towns/cities. Your army should get so big it hardly matters what units you use, especially if you farm souls from a repeatable fight (yellow icon). I finished 1st time with 10,000 army size at level 50. Also, the Death spell is ridiculous when combined with max crit. from knight skill tree. 1-shotting 20k-health opponents is fun!
Pretty good game. With that said... 1) it needs a Speed Mode that skips all battle animations in for both 1v1 and siege modes (except crit bar) and 2) the fact that the protagonist looks like a DBZ character really gets on my nerves.
med lab doesn't do anything. irradiate doesn't do anything. feed doesn't do anything unless you click "scan". head implant resulted in full set of head, arm and body implants. something is just broken here.
SUCCESS! for level 2-5 here is what WORKED (for me, at least once): -1- build 4 fusion cores, 2 on top and 2 on bottom of your base. upgrade 2 of them. -2- build a row of gause cannons at top and bottom, working from the center out. -3- when you have 8-10 cannons, upgrade the other 2 cores. -4- build 2 more cores at the sides of your base. -5- continue extending your gause cannon lines until they meet on the sides. -6- build 3-4 autocannons ouside your gause line at top and bottom. flank them with more gause guns. at this point, the game declared victory for me!
2-5 keeps defeating me. gaus cannon rush = fail; wall of autoguns = fail; heavy lasers + freeze guns = fail; ship defense = fail. can someone PLEASE post a DETAILED, step-by-step description of how they beat 2-5? it has to be the most common rage-quit stage in this game.
Rating WOULD HAVE BEEN 5 STARS if no for the inclusion of an Achilles' Heel. The fact that Madagascar is such a royal pain when trying to get total annihilation dramatically reduces the fun of this game - instead of thinking "How can I make my disease more infectious without being too much more noticeable" the game is reduced to "DELETE ALL SYMPTOMS! I hope I can infect Madagascar within 30 days..." = 3 STARS
