A chance to get the very first sidekick that actually benefits you? And is passive, meaning you don't even have to have it equipped? Please take a couple minutes to set up a Facebook account (even just barebone, if you hate FB like I do) and like LoTS: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Legacy-of-a-Thousand-Suns-Community/180642625386550
It will benefit the game, AND the players. Win-win.
Strange. All the latest upgrades to browser and Flash, and tha game bugs like crazy. First level... where the boss is supposed to be (I guess), I just fly on and on, no enemies, no end of level. Buttons can;t be pressed once I quit (not finish, as mentioned above) the level. What gives?
This is apparently a cash-cow-wannabe. Just sloppier than most. I'm peeved at Kong constantly badging such pieces of sh*t. On the other hand, even Kong needs money, so it makes sense.
@sthreet: Why people comment here if they don't like the game? Many reasons, namely: 1) to complain and relieve the stress and frustration 2) to legitimately express an opinion in a discussion pertinent to the game 3) to possibly save others the time and frustration they themselves had to go through. 4) add your own thoughts...
Some fights really depend on dumb luck. A mage with 200+MCs against you? Better pray he doesn't draw Enchanted Arrow or Battle Mage, and the 50% success doesn't go through... and next round, too, and the next, and the next... ad nauseam. I'm getting the badge and never touching the game again. It's pretty sad, really, since I rather like some other 5PG games. I just wonder what went wrong when they were considering the balance of gameplay.
The immersion on a large screen is incredible. Tunnel vision, elevated blood pressure and pulse, dry eyes and throat... it's difficult to take a break even for a moment. Great game!
Good graphics, kudos! Other than that, it feels like just one element of a much bigger game (go prospecting for minerals/launch probes into space/build support buildings such as power generators, shields to protect against meteors.../trade minerals/hire crew...) Lotsa potential here. Not sure if the game would be viable on such a scale in Unity though.
Adding the ability to lock onto one enemy would be great! More info on weapons (speed, range, damage - or at least "flight time capacity" for missiles)? Upgrading missiles' speed/reach/agility/damage? Capital ships that can only be taken down with nukes would be a welcome addition and add replay value (I'm slowly getting bored after a half hour of playing). All in all, this one's a keeper, and has a lot of as-yet unrealized potential. Faved.
Hmm. I'm still confused. Can't tell when I'm getting hit, can't tell if I'm hitting (I actually managed to kill about three enemies in about ten minutes). The movement is a bit erratic (all of a sudden I'm elsewhere and don't know how I got there - did I fly that fast? Did I get killed (short explosion animation upon death? Status update?)? All in all, still a great game, even with the aforementioned issues.
It's actually character death, but I haven't updated it quite yet. This game was actually a reworking of a game of the same name that I made last year, and I didn't have the experience at the time to do anything better.
Not a bad attempt. The blocks coming in differently -shaped stacks are nice. Suggestions: - more block types (e.g. different color with different toughness) - improve paddle design/bounce angles. It now seems the paddle only has three bounce areas - front (straight) and two corners (roughly 45°bounce angle).
Also, paddle can go WAY off screen when moused out of the game window. Maybe add a constraint on paddle movement?
Wow. Just... wow. Such a gem, I didn't expect that! This is obviously a huge project, but such potential! 5/5 and well deserved, sir! Have you tried getting sponsored? This game deserves it.
I give this game a rating two notches lower than the first one. Why? Too tedious. Takes too long to just finish the story, and most of the time is spent staring at the screen hoping there'd be a gummy at my point of impact. Too many launches needed, too few gummies around, too much to upgrade... all in all, it gets repetitive and boring, something the first game didn't. 2/5.
Okay. Bad game. Also, when you upload a game to an English-language site, it would be rather nice to use English. And no, I'm not a native English speaker. I had to learn the language, just like YOU should.
Glad you're enjoying it so much :)
