Since all units get fully healed after a battle you should obviously buy a few high health units rather than several low health units. You could have it where units heal between battles and you choose which units to deploy in a fight............... My scouting info should give me SOME info on approaching enemies because I keep getting completely blindsided.
Awesome game. Cool tech tree, nice units design and formation, and cool countries........ Sadly the inability to choose your unit formation basically makes the game impossible to beat. No forces protect my archers, my hydras stray from my paladins, the paladins go in front of my minotours instead of behind them, units prefer to run around in circles instead of flanking, and militiamen are on the front rather than hanging in the back for IF they are needed........I could really use an encyclopedia where I can see what each unit's stats. I guess Hydras are better than Minotours but by how much?....... There should be a country that gets a bonus to angels because they are cool........ We see a supply limit for food, but why not for each unit. How many more paladins can I buy?....... The tech tree is really good but its presentation should be better so I can see what I need to get what.
I beat the game and then promptly lost the e-mail which was my bad.........A really fun game with cool powers and guns........The best guns BY FAR are the shotguns. In fact, I think the whole game should have revolved around the shotguns with long range weapons having less ammo and power. Its really easy and boring to just walk backwards and shoot with a rifle, but having to run forward and put yourself in the danger zone is a lot of fun...... More 'unique' weapons should have been added. A gun that can shoot a single round through walls, mines, molotovs, grenades, etc. Far too many of the weapons are 'point and shoot' and have the same strategy...........Given how important money is the best thing to do is invest all of your money into a single character and ignore the others. I ran the whole game with Miguel who (lucky for me) was the best.
The level design varies from great to boring. Open plains with nothing in them are simple grinds and really easy if you have a rifle, where as the hotel and mineshafts are fun. They have platforms and ledges which allow for choke points, flanks, cover for zombies, and require the player to jump around. It also allows for the zombie classes to play off each other with the player having to move around to avoid slow zombies and not get hit by ranged zombies. The game should have been almost entirely really intricate platform chunks like the mine shaft............. The magazines are a really cool idea unless you miss one. If you miss one (which I did) you have no idea where in the level it is and you have to start the level ALL OVER AGAIN and go through it.......... The jackhammer shotgun is crazy overpowed and can kill bosses really fast.
I very much liked how many bosses there were and how unique they were visually and mechanically........ I like how we can use old weapons again...... The Mossberg shotgun was the most fun shotgun because you had to manage its ammo while in the heat of battle. Lots of fun. More guns should have interesting reload mechanics like that...... The slowdown in this game is absolutely brutal. I have a decent machine, use lots of antivirus and closed all other programs and the game still chugged on the lowest settings. Its crazy.......... Again, this game was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it.
Outstanding game. The game is at its best when you have to switch between the different elements and spells to make them work in unison. Use fire for fast solo targets, ice for horizontal lines and lightning for vertical lines (though I would prefer it way more accurate). Using ice to bring down flyers, having Striker Pengu out as the same time as the Cold Collector, activating Dragonfall to cover a Frigid Angel, using a Storm Pengy to clear the floor while you focus on Dragons, its great. If a sequel of some kind were to be (hopefully) made even more synergistic spells would be awesome..... All of the basic attacks are really slow and require dedicated fire so it is great that you can have long term summons like Striker Pengu, Cold Collector and Pyro Pengu to cover you and take out that one fast enemy.
Yes definitely! Originally, you were supposed to have more runes to play with. Elemental combos etc etc. But budget, time and software limitations hindered me. I learned a lot from this game, tho. So maybe after a few more games and I get to save money, a sequel will come.
It is disappointing that the plot is completely linear other than not getting to see the merchant a few times. I beat the game with really nice decisions and once with all stupid decisions and its 99% the same. The story was extremely good for how little screen time the characters received it would have been very nice to see what the witches characters could have developed into.
A really great game. Great unit composition and functions........One way it could be improved would be by letting us slow down gameplay when needed or let us see out units better. Because of the isometric perspective I had a hard time seeing where I had open slots or if a lane was blocked. And since everything is so fast I often times had to just haphazardly throw units around.........I am completely mystified by the fact that your units are removed at random. It sucks when I put all my gold into one class and BAM, its gone.
Pretty fun game with pretty cool mission set. But it is odd how the game just kinda ends..........If I install a rack on the bottom of the screen I can't move or upgrade it since the “purchase 10” buttons covers it up............... I don't get what it takes to keep my customers happy. I have max upgrades and 100% popularity, but I still get tons of red-frowny faced customers at the end of the day. But it seems like unhappy customers don't affect your profits. I guess I don't really get it.
Good core gameplay with nice graphics, but there is nothing to do. You have seen everything about 6 minutes in. I suspect that new weapons, levels, enemies and missions would be nice. The only thing that is glaringly wrong is the fact that the enemies have guns. It is very hard to see enemy fire resulting in me getting blindsided. I figured that most of the enemies would be melee with a few that have highly visible charged projectiles (like rocket launcher).
What is going on? There are no instructions so I don't know what to do. I guess spores are good but I don't know how to control them, grow them or how exactly they work.
The game basically becomes impossible to beat. Choose Super Saiyan Goku, and when you press U after a jump you fly. So just stay in the air and nuke the area forever. Only go to Super Saiyan 3 if you are low on health as leveling up refills health.
Having limited resources that have to be multiplied is really lame. I need 200 crystals to beat a mission but I have no clue how many crystals are in a bunch so I don't know when to build a crystal refinery and I lose a match. Simply adding numbers over resources as to how many are left would really help.
An extremely fun game with cool mechanics and an interesting way to let us deliver percentages of units (which was much appreciated). But then the black hole units show up and god damn, the game just kicks your ass. I was cruising on hard mode and then I hit level 34 and I can't beat it on easy. Not even close. Still a sweet game.
Sweet game. Great enemies with unique patterns and function. My character was a bit too fast and floaty which made it hard to move strategically or dodge fire. I got 3 ravens and a baby pheonix and it made me crazy strong. I really liked this game.
Past the third level the clothing set bonuses are so good you wouldn't use anything that wasn't a set so they might as well have been one item rather than 3-4 items.........It would be much appreciated if we were told what item sets do. I grinded a level 8 times to get the not Darth Vader set only to find out its ability was crap when I should have been grinding not Sub Zero who I ignored for a long time. Maybe make it so that we can know the ability after gathering one item in the set...........I should be able to respect my troops frequently.........I HATE how my melee attackers fling SO FAR back after attacking. I wanted to have tanky fighters in the front with DPS shooters in the back but my melee guys would fling behind my rear cats who didn't have health gear and died instantly when enemy units attack……..Still a fun game though. I enjoyed running around and fighting in cool costumes.
