now that was dumb: i got a low score in a "survival" level (where you need to survive for a number of turns) because i TOOK A LONG TIME TO WIN!
no kidding. the ONLY way to win that kind of level is to stay alive for a number of turns, and i lost points for taking too many turns to finish!
ridiculous.
Hi ericbloedow, I'm sorry you don't like the mechanics of the "Survive" game modes, it doesn't work quite like you said though. There are some other factors that are taken into account to get the score on a level, such as the amount of enemy cards killed, or how many of your cards got killed, etc.... Notice the 3 icons at the bottom of the finish popups, hover them with the cursor and you will see why you didn't get more score. Hope this clarifies how it works! Thanks anyways for leaving your comments, it always helps us get better!
i will never forget that time i saw several people playing Rampart who had NO idea what the object was: they fired ALL their shots at the enemy castle! very silly.
and another time where they fired all shots at the enemy cannons...
news: level 2 investment risk reduced by 24%. so now there's ONLY a 35% chance of losing my entire investment.
and level 3 investments have a 75% NORMAL risk...in other words, a 25% chance of success.
i keep forgetting the most important rule: when you make a match, the new item appears in the LAST SPACE YOU MOVED TO! particularly confusing when you make a double match.
i give up. the 3rd enemy is VERY fast and "does extra damage to neutral planets", so it ALWAYS captures EVERY neutral planet before the shields come down...
i'm, giving up at act one level 3...IF i STARTED with TWICE as many potions are there are ENEMIES IN THE MISSION AND every single enemy dropped a potion, it MIGHT be possible...
i might have mentioned this before: level 5e had me stumped until i realized that the particle in the center is actually one of those special items that turns off gravity! collect that one first.
