The double control scheme is too wonky when you have no choice but to play the game on an AZERTY keyboard. It'd be much better if, for example, we'd have the option to select each character and use arrows for both of them (when selected, of course). 2/5 for being unable to enjoy playing it.
That... was truly excellent. First levels easy enough to, well, ease the player in the mindset of the game, and difficulty slowly ramping to the point (level 19, I think) where you start to ponder every move, tinker with the pegs and get so engrossed in the game that the outside world does not exists anymore. 5/5 without the slightest doubt.
Finallly a game where your own projectiles can hurt/affect you: I shot an ice arrow in the air, and got dmg+freezing effect as a result. Thanks for this added bit of realism...
My headphones are a good 60cm from me at this moment, and my sound is set to 25%... Yet I heard that freggin' GameArk intro, coming straight at me to pierce my eardrums relentlessly... Yeurk...
Needs a sequel... And a way to keep all the cash we get after reaching the moon (I got +/-5700 bananas that are burning a whole in my iron monkey suit back pocket). Also: Ba-na-nah? BANANAH!
That was another great game from BeGamer. A tad more difficult than the others, which is mighty fine by my book, and much more rewarding. Also, the animation seems to have progressed from the past games, which is also great. Keep up the good work, guys!
That was very cute, and worthy of praise. The "purring" at the end of each level was very endearing. However, I must wonder how much "Cut the Rope" inspired the game mechanisms, as some of the levels' solution felt very similar to it...
The controls are way too awkward for the game to be truly enjoyable. Also, once you've been able to purchase the "Double Money" upgrade, it becomes too easy, as you can get above 100K$ in one run, allowing you to purchase the best items at once. Needs work, more upgrades and an art revamp. 3/5
Ten years later, that cutey wittdle wabbit became addicted to meth and LSD, later to enter a rehab clinic on the outskirts of LA and ended his career by a touching confession to Oprah: "Yes, I did take stimulants to get those carrots"
It actually IS a quite accurate representation of what it is to be a follower of Cthulhu: pointless (awaken Chtulhu and you die, anyway), illogical (why bother collecting 2 gold for 2 buildings when you can move one of the building and multiply your gold) and non-euclidian (this game has no shape at all). Ia! ia! ia! Cthulhu fthangh!
Got 3 stars on the 30 "starred" levels and succeeded the five bonus levels at my first try. I love physics game because they force you to think twice before committing a move, but this one... Meh. 2/5
Could be an interesting game, just a few things to improve. For instance, what about an auto-fire as long as you keep the left mouse button pressed (machinegun style)? Or (and that would be more important) the possibility to upgrade your ship (or even those of your comrades)? And finally (a pet peeve of mine), please change the "pictures" of our "comrades-in-arms", they look too generic. Don't mind to rain on your parade, please take this as constructive criticism.
The only reason it doesn't have auto fire is because of the charge shot. I will look into a ship upgrade system too. Thank you for the suggestions. You can look forward to an update soon. As a note to everyone, I will be adding achievement support as well.
The bike's physics indeed ARE atrocious. It topples too easily, but in a slow-motion way and with a relative weight that's almost impossible to correct once you're past a certain point. It makes you hope that the bike will land almost horizontally, so that you've got a chance to move more. This game will make more than one person ragequit, methinks... 2/5
