Alright, this game has some SERIOUS balance issues, both stat wise and resource wise. It is way too grindy too early on and it only gets worse. The game should only really start to grind around higher points or just before we can perform soft resets, not five levels into the game. That is a good way of having your game avoided.
Actually, gains for the warrior seemed to all be bugged. Veterans sometimes don't increase any stats or only some of them, swords don't always increase attack, the breastplate always works. If I'm dumping 2K metal into something, I expect results. Also, why would I need metal to make a mantle? How big is the clasp?
What I'm wondering is why a few of the swords I purchased didn't increase the warrior's attack. Out of the 19 I've bought, I think about three of them didn't do anything at all. Also, how do turns work? On floor five, only my warrior attacked, then the enemy, then my cleric healed my warrior, then the enemy attacked again and so on until he one shot each of my adventurers. It literally attacked after each of my characters got a turn.
Here's my two cents: as much as I'd love for offline gains to be added in, along with new content, I believe that bug fixes should be a priority. There is no point in putting in new features when old ones are still bugged, especially if the old bugs are game breaking or block us from the new content.
It's totally true i agree but everytime someone tell me about a bug i'm fixing it asap (sometime it take me a while longer) but normally now everything that people mentionned is fixed including offline gain / daily reset. they are just not applied in this beta version but are working fine with the new server for the release ^^)
This is not a fresh mix of anything. Peacekeeper and the Bullet Haven games did the whole bullet hell/shooter/upgrade thing before, as did others. Still, a good game, aside from bugs and horrible grammar.
The interface needs a lot of work. There is so much unused space that fixing it would make scrolling almost unneeded, and a different background color would be nice since it is kind of hard to read some things. Also, in the building tab, separate the building and their requirements so that it is more like other clicker games. Overall, interesting, but it will require a lot of work.
Alright, I don't know if you are doing anything with this game anymore, but you seriously need to KILL THE MUSIC! It is blaring, and I can clearly hear it when I have my speakers down to zero and my headphones are lying on my desk. At least one other person has complained about this, so fix it pronto!
