I'm not associated with the project obviously, but imo Minecraft should start getting credit the Mojang admits they have never had an original creative impulse in their lives and that they've stolen all their success from older games. This actually takes it in a new direction, unlike minecraft which added some skeletons to infiniminer and knocked off for an early lunch.
Oh and for the love of GOD get more songs. It's not a bad song, don't get me worng, but after about 10 minutes of it I had to mute before I lost my mind.
All in all a pretty good game. I would love to see it with prettier photographs or even paintings - not that these were bad, per se, they were just really bland. Doing this with Japanese Bridge in Blue by Monet would teach us all a lesson in complacency...
For the sake of bragging, I breezed through it like it weren't even a thang until Broadway, at which point I began to cry uncontrollably. That fcking thing took me like 20 minutes.
This game is incredible. I love it. Once you get this shit completed it will be one of the best games on Kong. I'm not going to make suggestions because I'm sure you know what's wrong with it, but for a pre=alpha it gets 5/5
Pretty fun game - the middle levels (IE between the point where you first see the grinder squiddies and when you get the mini-BFG) really capture the desperation and hopelessness of the film. Gets retardedly easy towards the end though - thor's cannon may as well be an iwin button since no matter how many enemies come through you can just hold down fire at the spawn. 3/5; fix the issues and it would be a 4/5
@Crapulus There is a suicide bomber robot... how did you not notice it??
This game is deep, yes. What it isn't is FUN. What made Company of Myself great was that it had something to say in addition to being an interesting game. This game is not interesting, which means finding what it has to say is a chore.
A game like this lives and dies on responsiveness. If I can't get it to go up one space and then immediately turn because hitting the buttons too close together means he does only the first command, that's on the 'dies' side of the line.
I love how anyone who mentions that this is on facebook gets immediately voted down. You realize that the thought police are supposed to be the BAD GUYS in that book, right? Not the downtrodden souls in need of public assistance?
