Interesting game, unique concept. Writing reminds me a little of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (in a good way). Brutally fcking difficult, but there's something to be said for that.
I like the webcomic but this game is questionable as fck... the difficulty curve goes from "wait, are they even trying?" for about 3 levels to "why jesus fcking christ WHY" immediately after. Guns should reload without my having to stop holding down the click button, the weird stun effect that means sometimes i can attack people immediately in front of me and sometimes I cant, leaving me to just sit there and watch my hp run out or else run to an unoccupied part of the gate and let them have their way with it is rtarded byeond reckoning, and the upgrade system makes no sense. Sorry guys, but you need to tighten this up a LOT.
Stupidly steep curve between the normal enemies and the unique ones. I end up with insane amounts of grinding against enemies I can kill with my eyes closed before finishing the boss of the area. This is not fun, at all.
This is literally the best in-browser game ever made. I don't need to reiterate what the others have already said by way of explanation, but I do want to reiterate that this game is beyond incredible. Probably one of the most sublime games of any kind I've played.
Ok I don't mean to be a dick, but how does it make sense to create a game in which the principle action is pressing the same 10 buttons on the same 3 menus over, and over, and over? The actual dungeon crawling part of this game is no more than 5% of your time if we're being generous...
IF YOU WANT TO KILL A TON OF ZOMBIES AFTER THE END OF THE CAMPAIGN, HERE IS HOW TO DO IT:
I got 6500 kills using only 5 medkits. Eventually quit because I got bored. Do the following:
Buy and fully update the auto-shotgun.
Next, the key to surviving is to run around the ring backwards, moving through gaps in the horde. Fire in the direction you came or slightly to the side CONSTANTLY with the auto-shotty.
Don't focus too much on where you're aiming - the key is simply to not run into anything, since 99% of the zombies can't run nearly as fast as you.
That said, the little spider ones can be a problem because of their speed. Focus fire on them if you notice them.
It's just that simple. I could easily have broken 40k kills before I ran out of medpacks since I still had 38 or something when I quit. Happy hunting!
(Plus this to keep it alive)
shooting gallery thing on the last level lags so bad it's all but unplayable on elite because my lightning-reflexes are hindered by my computer not doing what i tell it to...
Very inventive game, impressive from many perspectives, but I just don't enjoy it. I'm going to refrain from rating it because I feel like it's probably me and not the game...
