It takes getting used to before you can wrap your mind around the fact that half the guys aren't actually good objectively, they're good because of the strategy they employ. Especially the ones that only attack depots - objectively those things are horrible, but the fact that they don't immediately book it for the nearest killing field is invaluable. Kind of an odd game, but interesting in it's own way.
So fcking maddening to build a big force up and find that they do better than you expected and you're fcked out of a billion goop when they odn't come home. Wtf.
Absolutely incredible. THE best game on Kongregate, without competition. Seems like there's a whole herd of sentimental platformers lately. I sincerely approve of this trend.
Awesome game, beautiful photography. I would do less with the clouds, though - basically every time you see a cloud you know there's a difference in it somewhere.
Needs difficulty curve adjusted. I didn't try hard, but normal is tediously easy. Basically you only die if you completely drop your combat modules for exp/money or you get stuck behind something.
Still, not a bad game.
Allllllright finished this up. Won't make further comment on quality as I've already posted on that. I will help some people with glitches tho; most levels, including the ones with glitches have at least two completely diff solutions. If you're getting a glitch that you can't work around with your current solution, I advise completely switching strategy. It got me out of all 4 glitched levels except the ones which you get the balls to the end but the pipes don't fill properly.
On those, they either are intentionally like that and expect you to 'save up' a bunch of balls and drop them all at once, or else they are bugged and will EVENTUALLY begin working again. If you wait eventually the rounding will come out in your favor and it will complete. Just check your email or something and come back in 10 minutes.
I want to love this game, I really do, but you guys have GOT to work the bugs out. I worked around the one on D2 but the one on D#2 I see no way around... Something like this lives and dies on execution
Is it just me or are some stages incredibly easy and some incredibly difficult? Apart from that a good game, and one of the only ones on Kong I didn't mute right away.
Good work. Pretty, creative, and polished. Everything a Kong came should be. A bit of story might be nice, if you could do it without it feeling contrived.
Absolutely cannot get past lvl 14. I bought everything, I upgraded it completely, combined it every way I can think to, and it's still not even close...
