Very pretty, but otherwise pretty retarded. If you have to put a walkthrough up as a prominent button, you're doing it wrong. The puzzles made no sense, and I felt like I was just playing a game of "click on everything in the scene". Great atmosphere, though.
Some games create stress. This one reduces it. I love the way ammo management forces you to slow down and take good shots. If only I could beat the last level!
Thanks for the fast improvements! Two more suggestions:
On the pause screen, change "Return to Map" to "Abandon Battle". I come back after a bit, want to return to playing, and click "Return". And then scream.
Make autosave happen as soon as the battle is done. I somehow didn't do the right ritual, and had to beat the second boss all over again.
Love the idea, but that raindrop sound was my error beep for a couple years. Hearing it 30 times in a row is not the relaxing experience I was looking for.
