Thought provoking and well executed. My only gripe would be the length of the game itsel. Mind, it does tell the story with frightening precision and one is loath to grow old. Or perhaps after this game, one will be prepared?
Pretty much a perfect cocktail of spooky, gory and exciting.
Top down shooters of that quality is rare (or I might just have been bad at finding them?) especially ones with a bit of story and upgrades to them.
That you can be the individual soldier/warrior but also have a go at the zombies with the towers are just sheer, immature fun - the kind you never really grow out of.
This formula is handy, and would work well with a plethora of similar siege themed games.
Anything you guys make, I'll play, thanks man :)
Funny game. there are a few hiccups though.
It would be nice if you could jump down from a platform.
It would be lovely with a few save spots - and not having to start whole level over if you're shot.
While I love the style of this game - it's impossible (for me) to beat. I manage to get to the big rock shooter and that's all she wrote - I've tried this too many times to count. Frustrating! Mind, I'm not blaming you, just my own lack of reflexes.
Fun game - there's just a few wibbly bits. Such as getting stuck in the ceiling every now and then.
But these are minor quibbles, all in all it's a nice retro game.
As it is with most unity games, one can't leave the game once you're in it. No matter how much you try to click outside the game won't make a lick of difference. You have to close the window by keyboard command before getting out.
A completely simple version of the classic Klondike. Very laid back and with a pretty design.
I could use a "undo" or a choice between the various versions of the game.
But that is just petty pokings at a game that's pretty well without flaw.
What's pretentious about it? It's a well made puzzle/platformer, with a sad yet hopeful message.
It's pretty straight forward.
Also charming and sad and filled with hope.
And Satie is always a pleasure to listen to.
Enormously charming little run n jump game.
My only gripe is the game speed, it's hard to control the little fellow when he speeds too far even when just tapping the keys.
Other than that I hugely liked the whole retro yumminess of it.
A pleasant and good looking game. Controls are quickly learned and the reactions to button pressing is precise, what you give is what you get - often you find newbie game dv's giving their characters horribly slippy controls.
Do I have any gripes with this game? Yes, but they are minor ones, it would be fun to upgrade our robot, so that it can drill through steel perhaps? And rather than shooting the denizens of the deep and having to run before everything blows - exploration could be a possibility?
But really, that'd be a "part two" if anyting.
All in all a good looking game with steady playability.
Full marks!
Thats not how all Unity games are. Thats just how devs leave them. I'll make it so you can press escape and get out of them on the next update :)
