So I got the Merge rune, and in the process of figuring out how to do the power loops everyone keeps talking about I Fluxed myself to death. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Very unique magic system, though I must say I was disappointed that I couldn't summon, animate, or dominate monsters. The closest I got was sustaining blocks with continual applications of healing cloud spells.
When am I going to start getting income from people other than me clicking on the site? Google has to be listing SkethyDeals.com by now, it's got over a million hits!
I'm not sure the statement in one of the earlier levels about needing to use the glitch to proceed being necessary was was true. A lot of the glitches were just graphical (I.E. the level where you randomly shift between being red, green, and blue; and the one where your hitbox gets permanently colored a random color constantly). Even the one where you're upside down the whole level is mostly a graphical glitch, the only actual glitch in that level being that gravity switches between the two sides of the level.
It'd be nice if we could add particle effects from certain accessories we own. As it is, the only reason to get end game accessories if you prefer the look of non end game ones is to have them.
The game can basically play itself once you get all the base and tank upgrades except move speed. I didn't even have to intervene on the final boss fight.
(spoilers) Well that was all certainly... interesting. I have no idea what to make of the morality of any of this. What with god being a tyrant to the other gods, but his existence being necessary for the totality of life anywhere but earth. Do the lives of "lesser" conscience beings even rank with that of the meta-beings in a utilitarian moral calculus? And does the kantian philosophy of not treating self-aware being as a means to an end apply to the gods who treat entire universes of conscience beings as a means to the end that is their own existence? Is this what you were going for?
I wonder if the research levels ever cap. If they don't, one could theoretically get a singularity situation going on, where you research the 2500 points needed to complete a research in one second, and then because of the lower cost and distance researches you could drop all costs and distances to practically nothing.
More than anything, I was going for people to think about stuff, so, uh, yes!
