I think the riddles are broken. If you get one wrong, it doesn't make you stay, and if you get them all right it tells you so but doesn't tell you that you're actually in space.
I like how enslaving the boss is a legitimate way to win as the wizard, even if you already have a pet. Tip: Mana potions recharge the enslave spell without having to gain a bunch of XP.
For the psychopaths out there, killing the psychiatrist gives 12 food, killing the doctor gives 15 food, killing the robots gives 0 food, killing the soldier gives 17 food, killing the dog gives 10 food, and killing the engineer gives 21 food.
tim009, the only thing this game seems to have in common with cardinal quest is that they're both roguelikes. You wouldn't accuse halo of being a copy of call of duty because they're both first-person shooters, would you?
I think there could be an artifact rune that has a chance to make enemies killed with that spell have a chance to drop one of the runes that compose one of their spells. Could make for slightly more predictable rune builds, since you'd know which enemies to kill for which runes you need to make the spell you're after. The only problem is if bosses can be affected by this, then you might get whatever lets the Rat King Summon rats, which I assume would still be hostile to the player.
