I remember tasselfoot's name being very common to see in the comment's section. His guides are generally very helpful. It's people like him who did those guides for free who were a large part responsible for the end of guides made by businesses and instead guides made by the fans of games.
@gamergail: Actually, there are plenty of other games that use infections in-game. In fact, the Infectonator series of games is based entirely around it.
@Davtwan: I have to agree with daexion that the chain WAS hard to see, and having the graphics improved a tiny bit so you could see it would have been nice. Or were you being sarcastic since you admit it was a "thick grey line" that you see instead of a chain until you actually add it to your inventory?
@K9Darek: Their isn't a way to mute the music in-game. I'm not sure about other browsers, but Firefox has a speaker icon on tabs where a tab has something in it emitting sound. I suggest clicking the speaker icon for the tab for this webpage to turn off all sound coming from this tab.
@HajzlPapir: Um... what does this game have to do with Bugs Bunny mocking Elmer by making himself look overweight? Because that's the only definition of "big chungus" that I could find online.
Cross-eye technique is the one I used, and my vision isn't exactly perfect (20/40 in one eye and 20/80 in the other if I remember right.) Just treat the screen like those books where you have to cross your eyes to see a 3D image and it makes finding the differences easier.
Definitely one of the best tower defense games, right up there with Gemcraft. The only problem with this game is as Thalain said a few comments earlier, which is that if you spent hours grinding the original Cursed Treasure game which is essentially the same and now you have to grind again because you can't import your progress. Then again, because the game is so different we get extra points from earning these easy and medium badges. I doubt there would be those badges if greg or whoever back then assigned badges thought it would be too easy.
@SoftHard: Um, how does Brexit have to do with the 1800s opium/tea trade or with slavery? Also, I don't know of anyone who is laughing about Brexit. For one thing, it is old news that isn't really talked about anymore. Second, people are saying its a good thing because their is no point having a country part of a union if the people in the country don't want to be in it. This way Britain can can go down their path and see if having less regulations and more freedom will be better for them, while the countries in the EU have more centralized control which may give a better economy due to more stability. As for which is better only time will tell, but I can't think of anyone who is LAUGHING about it.
Got Easy and Medium Badges on March 11, 2013. Got Hard Badge on December 15, 2015. That should give people an idea of how difficult it is to beat every level without dying.
I liked the game, so 3/5 Stars. There are 2 major issues. First, in one of the levels where you start off with a piston to push you, specifically the one where you start on the left and have to use a piston to push you right past a star, the ball will most of the time start to far away from the piston. I had to restart that level several dozen times before the piston was able to hit the ball when the star was no longer in the way. Second, there is no level select. If those two problems were fixed I'd upgrade the game to at least 4/5 Stars.
@archerbob: Just focus on earning the achievements. Those will give you plenty of points to get most of the upgrades. That will significantly speed up the farming of points so you can get upgrades.
Ok, this is weird. I saw that w4m4w was replying to q00u, but I didn't see the person in Most Recent comments. I then clicked "see all" to check all Most Recent comments and for some reason on that page a comment from q00u about missing the BotD is showing up. I tried refreshing the game page, but it still isn't showing up on the game page, only in the comments page.
@Thingfromthevoid: There are probably more Kongpanions setup. I doubt Kongregate went through all that trouble several weeks ago getting Daily Badges and Stickers to work when they are planning on removing the Daily Badges, and there is no point having Daily Badges if you are not doing them to get a Kongpanion. Unless there will be a new use for Daily Badges beyond bonus points and stickers.
It's not a 5 minute game, but it is still pretty short. You should be able to complete all 20 levels under 30 minutes easily. The first 10 levels should take you less than 5 minutes, but after that you'll have to start thinking. Lv. 20 took me about 5 minutes by itself. And here's a hint: All levels can be completed without doing a block reset. That is, no level will require a block to be on a lower area and then you need to reset a block by pushing it against a wall to reset it back to its original location have the block help you at a higher area.
It's an ok game. The good thing about this game are the interesting puzzles and storyline. The bad things are that the Shift buttons didn't work for turning off the music, it would be nice to be able to speed up the text, it's hard to tell WHO is saying what when a conversation is going on, and you don't have an inventory so you have to memorize what items you have. Overall I give the game 3/5 stars. If the bugs or gameplay issues were fixed I'd give it 4/5 stars easy.
