@contrapoint: Um, the WASD keys work for me just as the instructions stated. "W" selects the 2nd unit, "A" selects all units, "S" selects all heroes, and "D" selects all non-hero units.
@tiacat11: I have some lag after taking a picture, but then it speeds back up to normal in a few seconds when the camera zooms back out to the normal position.
@W0lfl0ver: Um, I don't think there are any survivors in this game. This game is solely to activate totems to beat the map. Also, collectors are much more efficient than reactors, as they grant the same amount of energy but collectors are 1/4 the cost of reactors. They also are needed for your energy packets unless you want to use relays.
As the game is, I give it 5/5 Stars, but I would suggest the following 4 changes: allow yourself to go back and choose stages and checkpoints to replay, have maps showing each individual stage as you progress through it (including an option to see the ending scene again,) a map showing all the stages which show up when you complete them, and the ability to have a timer challenge so people can compete with each other and themselves (it could also allow a few badges to be added just for time challenges.)
Ok... I got this error message: "An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was: uncaught exception: WebAssembly support is not detected in this browser." I know I have Javascript and Unity, and I made sure any adblockers were disables and I still get this error. Anyone know what needs to be done to play this game? If so, send me a PM.
I vaguely remembered playing this game on Sep. 30, 2016 when I got the badge. I guess I remembered enough though. I was able to beat the game without a guide in about 10 minutes. Anyway, it's a good game, so I'm upgrading it from my previous 4/5 Stars from when it was frustrating to 5/5 Stars now.
Huh. Nice to see that the bank is still sending me money even after completing the game and getting the hard badge close to 3 years ago. I got on a got a message that I got 23,000 of the purple diamonds (the highest form of currency of the game I guess since it didn't switch to a new currency after reaching 1,000 of that type.)
Saturday, 10-13-2018: 1 min. 27 sec. At the start I moved my base just to down-left of the left totem, turned off Totem packets, built Collectors to the other 2 totems, and then turned on Totem packets. Just skip the technology, as it makes you take longer to win given that extra energy or more efficient building won't give you your return on investment given how quickly you can beat the level.
@vylkolak: The controls are SUPPOSED to be bad early on. Once you buy some upgrades though you'll be able to move anywhere you want to as long as you have fuel.
Wow, it's been a long time since I played this game. Still a decent game even though it was made over 10 years ago. I just start with a Double Machine Gun and a Heavy Cannon, then buy Decoy Drones, and then buy a Damage Buffer. For upgrades, the Double Machine Gun's and Heavy Cannon's damage, get the Decoy Drone so it's drones can shoot followed by more drones per stage, and increase the Damage Buffer's buff. This should allow your machine gun to do 3 damage instead of 1 within a few levels, the drones act as AI help, and the Heavy Cannon can lob shots over enemies with shields.
Wow, it's been years since I played this game. While having unplayed great games are still the best BotDs, it's sometimes fun seeing good games being brought back to mind with the BotDs.
