Ok game, 3/5 Stars. The two things that stop it from getting a better rating is how unintuitive it is to click the magnet and then click the electric eel in quick succession, and clicking the stack of papers, and then clicking the one correct locker at the correct time.
Game is ok, 3/5 Stars compared to 5/5 Stars for prequel. The main drawback is the difficulty of the challenges in this game. They are much harder than the previous game. The last game involved some thinking to figure out how to do the challenges, but this game is just annoying.
I decided to try the prequel for Current Weekly Challenge, and I found it to be a great game, 5/5 Stars. I beat the game by playing the first 5-6 stages one time through without choosing any of the options to make the stages harder. That gave me enough points to level my Attack to Lv. 5. I did the 1st stages Challenge, and then leveled up my Meteor spell on the RIGHT path, as it gives more damage per mana spent. I then did the 2nd stage, throwing meteors at the original crystal while switching my plant to Attack whenever a spawn appeared. I continued doing the challenges for all the stages in order, while leveling the following skills/spells to max in this order: Meteor, Wealth, Critical, Regeneration, Cost, Defense, and Health, while ignoring Healing and Shield. Once the 15h Challenge was beaten, I went through the stages in order from the beginning choosing the highest difficulty settings, and then finally got 3 completions on each stage. I hope this helps other people. :)
Great game. The subtle instructions for each level that also match up with something people say is involved in love, like "flying to meet you" or "wait for you" is a very good idea. 5/5 Stars from me. I look forward to playing the next game in the series.
@Destriarch: Try upgrading your Lasers more. At Lv. 1, they won't kill anything unless you go really slow. At max level however, you can destroy them in less than a seconds.
@Hanysek: Improve your Repulsion Field upgrade. You should NEVER get hit by asteroids when it is fully upgraded. The only things you will hit are the attacking alien ships, human-made satellites, and the ground. Everything else, even the large asteroids, will be pushed out of the way.
Great game, 5/5 Stars from me. This game took into account all the suggestions for the previous game. It has added upgrades, the ability to do something with money, and the ability to get through the game without setting off any alarms. They even added badges and hi-scores to this game. Now if only they made it harder to hack into and get 1,000,000+ points in hi-scores...
@Black_Fox_Furry: To do the golden locks, first use the arrow keys (or A and D) to move the bottom slider into place, and then press up (or W) one time. Then move the second slider into place, and press up again, and you've unlocked a golden lock.
Wow, not many people are playing this game. It's actually an ok game, 3/5 Stars from me. It reminds me of the games I used to play in the car where I was given a card showing the layout of a field and cars or ships on it, and I had to get the cars/ships parked/docked.
Game is pretty good 3/5 Stars from me. There are 3 things holding it back from 5/5 Stars. First, you can't re-stun and enemy. Once an enemy is unconscious, you can repeatedly hit them, and they will still wake up a set amount of time from when they were FIRST hit. Second, there is not timer showing how long they are stunned for. Finally, the last stage is impossible to grab all the money without setting off the alarms. Other than those things, I see no problem with this game. I look forward to trying out Bob the Robber 2 which is this week's Current Weekly Challenge.
Hmm, Armour and/or Repulsion Field need to be improved. With max Launch Engine, Top Speed, Impact Shield, and Luck I zoom off the launch platform, and run through so many Speed Boost Arrows and don't slow down from hitting things that I reached Level 8: Solar System in 40 seconds. I would've kept going quickly except apparently human satellites have a lot of mass, because I slammed into one at the aforementioned extreme speed, which finally brought me back down to regular speed. During that time I bumped into so many things my max armor was down to less than 20%.
@jonny0panic: If you max your Magnet upgrade, you should have no problem collecting coins or fuel. Practically everything above me comes to me now that I have it fully upgraded, and I have the Acceleration and Top Speed upgrades maxed out also.
The bug I found was that if you max your steering to go left/right, and you keep going left/right after the 3rd level, all the coins and arrow boosters will appear at the far left/right side of the screen respectively. This is fine, except that it also causes all the coins and arrow boosters to stop appearing above you when heading to Earth or below you when you head back where you come from, until you reach the 3rd level. The coins and arrows will then reset to appear below you, unless you again go only left/right, where the game will then bug again and only create coins or arrow boosters at the far left/right side of the screen respectively.
Great game. Only level that gave me trouble was Lv. 10. It didn't occur to me to drop from the middle moving block to the left one. I had to watch the walkthrough to see that trick. After learning that trick, I was able to complete the rest of the game without any help. 4/5 Stars from me.
Tips for getting this game's badges. The easy badge is easy. Any level except for possibly the first level in each column will have at least 3 bullets in the stage, which will give you the 3 kills. The medium badge is even easier. Just use the trick SkyLe posted, and plant 20 flags anywhere. For the hard badge, you don't need to complete the level. As soon as you get 500 points, you'll be awarded it in the middle of a level. To REACH 500 points, make sure to explore everywhere. Even the dark squares you can't step on, if you get near to them so they would normally be revealed if you could step on them then they will give you points. You also get points for placing flags, and killing enemies, except for the mushroom enemies. Note that the first 2 levels in each column are definitely too short to get 500 points, and you'll only get 500 points in the 3rd levels if you are lucky. The 4th levels will easily give you 500 points though, as long as you don't die.
Wow thanks for your comment! We are glad to hear that ))
