A interestingly difficult game which requires a number of sometimes lengthy leaps of logic. While some of the puzzles were indeed difficult, none of them were so impractical that I needed to consult a guide. 5/5
My only problem is how easy it is to find accidentally find connecting pieces. I was moving one piece into a color group, when it suddenly connected with two others. From that point on it was just a simple matter of hovering a piece around pieces of the same color and quickly putting the whole thing together. Perhaps if there were an option to turn features like that off it would be a little more engaging.
HA! So it turns out that the "trick" to this game amounts to little more than a cheap exploit of an overlooked portion of the screen. Bloody brilliant.
The game is aggravatingly difficult. It's not that it's challenging, it's that the game pretty much cheats and makes you want to pull your ears off in frustration. There are too many instances where player skill means squat against the seemingly random acts of violence the game commits.
The first level doesn't need the anchor point in the sky; the second level is solvable by hanging a wooden beam from each of the anchor points above the bridge.
Just beat it, good game. The crate boss that spawns the guys was really neat. I won just as I was about to fall off the edge of the cliff, which made it fun. Watching guys get spit out of the crate and right off the cliff was fun, too.
I just killed the VTOL and it's not dying. It's just floating there without any weapons, doing nothing. Am I missing something, or is the game a little broked?
The first time I played this, I wasn't too impressed. It was a neat idea, but not terribly well executed. The recent revisions are a vast improvement, and I can now say that I genuinely enjoy the game.
I have one major issue with this game, and that is that diseases with absolutely no symptoms will still cause panic and close things down. How do these people even realize they've caught a virus?
Marvelous game! The basic adventure style template was perfect for a message of this style. After all, what better method to describe the inanity of the protagonist's situation than arbitrary item-gathering? The purposely vague story elements made the self-referential storytelling all the better.
A fun enough game, but it wasn't very compelling. The later weapons are all but useless since the starting pistol is all you'd ever need. The reload times on things like the AK-47 and the grenades make them uselessly impractical.
