It seems there is still some complication with the awards. I did not receive the awards for an 800x combo, not getting hit, or killing the 850 enemies.
The inclusion of a (rather difficult) boss makes this game a five. Tricky ball physics and dodgy line recognition aside, this is awesome. I've only done the first stage (normal), and I can't wait to try the rest.
I love everything about this game. The puzzles are a combination of timing and logic games, the music is prominent, without being overpowering. Even the menu is awesome.
Weird bug on the air levels. Every time I destroy an enemy plane, I lose a life along with him. If he starts with more lives than me, it is impossible to win.
Repairing the ship is prohibitively expensive. Hell, it would be cheaper to just buy a whole new ship in some cases. Add a lack of lives/continues to that and you have a game that becomes quite aggravating once you get into the harder levels.
A great idea, and well implemented. There is something supremely satisfying about watching your arms working in perfect, automatic unison to make something.
Everything below difficulty 100 is too easy, and difficulty 100 is literally impossible. (seriously, does the boss ever die?)
Starts off well, but falls into doldrum after a couple levels. The upgrades were a neat idea, but turned it into a game that plays itself; which is never all that fun.
Outside of a few minor gripes (multiple save states, more realistic aggro ranges/triggers, no tooltips for skills) it's a brilliant game. One of the few that I've given five stars. Well done.
Not bad, but not that great either. It starts off strong enough, but becomes terribly repetitive in very little time. Perhaps a little more variety among the different missions might make things more interesting.
Meh? Find enemy, mash on A, repeat.
Interspersed simple jumping puzzles and new, seemingly pointless, weapons do little to add any appeal to a very dull game.
And, yes, I know you *can* use other things than the A button, but you never really need to. The entire game can be played and beaten by pressing one attack key.
A vast improvement over Epic War, especially in regards to the experience system.
My only complaint is that the chopper is the only unit you need. You can spam them and never really need anything else.
Great transition of an older concept, but I can't give it too high a score until some of the glitches are worked out. A great start, just needs some revision.
I have a hard time not thinking things are a little lopsided when the computer will get 3000+ points with no chance to zilch three turns in a row and I get a bunch of single fives which result in immutable zilches on the same rolls. It's great when the computer can catch up in one roll with the score it took you five rolls to get.
Oh the poor nameless hordes of the multicolored empire. Did anyone even bother to find out what they wanted? Anyway, great game. A little on the easy side, but it was definitely fun. The adrenaline made things boring for about fifteen seconds, and the bosses were a little too predictable. Still, good stuff.
Boring, very boring. It's okay at first, but once you get to the point where your army is invincible, it's just irritation after irritation, and no desire to continue.
