Everyone is exalting the homing function but eh, on the boss run, I used the green ship, and one of each weapon (not laser since the green ship has it) and gave two of them poison, two of them affliction, and all split. Focus was a big part of it for me (contrary to what others have said;) while using focus, graze bullets to keep it up indefinitely. Didn't get hit until Atropos 2.0 because of his red whip.
Something weird happened. Matt was my last character, and I used Heavy Metal, which somehow revived my party, but I didn't get a chance to use them because Matt got killed and the game ended.
Hey, this is pretty fun. Worthy of a 4, but since I want to support you and see you go further, I'll give it a 5. A bit more of a movement tutorial and a guide for each star rating for each level would be nice.
Occasional glitch where you draw something and it won't go away, even if you double click it or try to reset. Seems to have frozen the level. Pressing menu blacks out the screen and fades back straight into the level, with the object still there.
Production of people could use to be a little faster, but besides that, go you! Hope you add highscores (level completion, total score, etc) and then hopefully the rating will be high enough for badges.
@maniac: there's a way to use your first two digs so that you can sometimes narrow it down to only one space that the treasure can be in. Occasionally, the system does not work as well and you have to guess, but it's almost always a 1/3 chance for me. I don't think it was made to be doable every time though, which is good design on their part.
Just another cookie-cutter MMO of a series that never should have gone past game 3. Micro-transaction currency, energy bar, clunky UI, and the same grindy tactics as in every recent Epic War game. Nothing new, nothing special. Let the downvotes pour in!
I personally haven't had a problem with the colors, but I seem to be in the minority. While not big on gameplay, I had always wished for a happier ending-and it was served. Thanks, 3/5
Sorry for the double comment, but perhaps there could be a way to go back and look for the emblems one may have skipped? And if possible, have the emblems unlock something trivial like concept art? I'd love that.
Echoing the current top comments: Wow. Deep meaningful story? Check. Incredible, detailed artwork? Check. Fitting, possibly original music? Check. Challenging gameplay? Check. Friendly user interface? Check. It is clear you've put a lot of time and effort into this, and it has not gone unnoticed. This is definitely somewhere in my top 5 flash games ever, and has definitely become the new standard by which I give a game a 5/5. Perfect.
