I do not see enough bomberman clones, especially on kong. I've been searching for a decent one for a couple days now. It would be nice if I found a multiplayer one.
As for this game in particular it gets the basics right. It has opponents, it has a pause, it has power ups. That being said the graphics suck and it lacks an original twist to it in order to be more than a bare bones clone.
It is innovative in its simplicity. I love the style, and how the two levels have entirely different screens for the same simple and ultimately pointless controls. If this theme were expanded into a longer and perhaps more difficult game it would be pretty epic.
Just in case anyone is having trouble with the bosses, the first four can be easily delt with by kicking them until they die. The Spear boss can be kicked, or if you can't get close in time by throwing his spears back between throws. The last boss apparently the only way is to die and attack while still invulnerable.
By the last level the enemy's have the exact same weapons health abilities and moves that you do you only get a random change at a 1 hit kill. Originally I rated this game a 5 because I liked all of the previous work from the creator and enjoyed the graphics violence and graphic violence but after having finished it I am not impressed. 3/5
Still a good game, but it does lag. Some enemies when hit with a spear will glitch, the spear will disappear they launch an attack and then die. Archers can shoot off screen. There is no pause button. An there is no real control of what direction you are facing. The automatic system is lacking, especially in close quarters. And if you want to redo an old level you have to replay all of the stages without dying. Sure it makes it harder, but not by a measure of skill so much as what a person is willing to endure.
This game is pretty buggy. I don't like the controls and it seems like they can attack really well with a spear right on top of you when you can barely hit them with a short sword. That being said the gore is always amusing and I really like the concept and the bosses. 4/5.
I like this game, at first it seems somewhat like a lazy copy of all the other sniper games but it grows on you with its dark humor and interesting missions. Excellent game.
Reminds me of an older time, when creativity went into flash games, and originality took place of graphics. While I don't like the a button, or the glitchy feeling of getting caught at the edge of a red blast what really killed this game for me was the sound effects. Unless you are naturally good enough to beat it on your first attempt (I suck, my first attempt didn't even get to the floating skull), it takes superhuman levels of endurance to stand it again without mute.
