Another thing I hate about this game is the lack of a pause button. That pisses me off the most probably, because i can't even get up to use the damn microwave.
So its a slow and unoriginal game without a mute button. The AIs are stupid, and as far as I can tell there is no way to select more than one unit or to select all units in a trench or bunker. It is unpolished, without buttons to exit to the menu or a hud that says what wave you are on. It is essentially a world war two themed tower defense game. I don't think badges are enough incentive to sit through a game like this. It is the type of game gamers would outsource to third world countries where some poor impoverished town could play it. Horrible.
Pretty fun game now that I finally have a chance to try it. Good thing I randomly chose far east, seems like they own everything. The random battles do get annoying when you try and travel, and please fix the spelling error on interesting before every single duel.
This is one of a handful of new games lately that really show what flashgames can do. The length and the variety of weapons and enemies are impressive and I particularly enjoyed the top down NES style graphics. I would like some way to change the colors and fight against friends like in armored core, but that is probably impractical.
I try not to be bias since I hate dice games in real life too. I can also ignore that so far I get have as many points with the same choices as the computer most of the time because I am unlucky in real life too. That being said I can't think of a game that was less fun to play. Not even going to endure it for the badges. Although the graphics leave a lot to be desired and the tutorial blocks the menu options when active I do like the cliche notebook paper style.
I hate flashcard games. That being said, I rated the lovecraft inspired one highly because I liked the material, and I likewise rated this game two stars higher because of the Asimov references. I never could find the mute button though. Good game none the less.
I enjoy this game. Thats saying a lot considering I usually can't stand more than 15 minutes of playtime on a typical td game. My biggest complaints are with the lag of the system in joining games rather than anything that could be changed in the game itself.
I also like that the developer is nice enough to respond to peoples comments. It makes it feel friendlier and more of a work in progress than a definitive edition with flaws that are unchangeable.
In the future I would really like to see more towers and a choice of maps with different numbers of players, as well as more interaction between players.
Everything was simple until I tried campaign mode. Seems like one has to try every combination to find one of the few progressions of upgrades that actually work. With the sheer effort and skill involved combined with lack of a saving feature it should be an impossible badge. Either way I'm giving up for now.
Great game. I especially like how the fire button is dispensed with since in games of this genre people tend to hold it down the whole time anyways. I love the upgrade system. Haven't played it far enough to rate it yet, but impressive so far.
I had such high hopes for this game. I love the style and the concept, aside from the nonpointy end of the spikes still killing you for some reason. My main complaint, aside from the inability to draw next to nonedrawable boxes (it does not draw in the next available space or even part of a line) is the choppy lines. In a game that is more action you seek to reduce lag by simulating it? It seems like having a limit to the ink, or ink that restores at a slower rate than you can draw it would be just as effective.
