What do you mean? This game is GREAT! I mean, after you forget about the lack of hotkeys (actually -- there are hotkeys -- you just have to click them with your mouse ;D), the extreme easiness, the lack of creativity, the lack of descriptions for towers, the inability to choose to cancel buying of a tower, no in-game data about waves of penguins, the (many) problems since game one, lack of explaining the special effects, the annoyingly bad lack of hotkeys, the wait time on the "send now" button, the not increased price for upgraded towers (and no lower price for re-selling them as an incentive to keep them, like most TDs), and... Oh! Did I mention the no hotkeys yet?
Whats really weird is that I'll go for like 3 PvP rounds without getting any good cards, then the next 3 people I face, I rip them apart with perfect cards.
One thing I wish was different was the times each unit attacks. If I have a 15 damage guy, and on the other side theres a guy with gravity pull with 20 health, I don't want to have all of my other guys that only deal like 4 damage to attack, I want my 15-damage guy to go and kill it. Or the other way around: A guy with gravity pull with only 2 health, I don't want my 15-damage guy going first, wasting the other damage. I think it could be better if the damage AI changed based on the situation.
I don't want a [-] but how is this on the "hot new games" and how is it the TOP hot new game? You can't un-choose to buy something, there are mistakes that were made on the FIRST GAME, there are no hotkeys, and the developer has yet to listen to a thing players have said. Players are more important than any tester because they truely give what they feel and we aren't getting paid and if we say something bad about the game, the worst we can get is a [-] (or even a [+]!), not a lost job. I would like to see this developer take into account what the players say...
I doin't understand a few of the off-mission non-mining levels. After I protect the warp gate, the ship comes through but I have to rebuild my defence? And when I build the super miner, I have to rebuild my defences (in what would be 10 seconds later when the miner starts mining) when it starts mining, and then rebuild AGAIN when it's dismantled.
Wait wait wait. The last time I completed the game and got the mystery upgrade it was different. It was the guy who loaned you $1000 stealing all of your money because you never paid him back... I like this ending better :D.
this is an awsome game, as SO MANY people have said. I love the shapes of some of the ships on the crappier graphics, some of this are smileys (if you imagine them to be you pessimists)
I'm sorry, but even though I really LOVE most TD games, I think I skip this one. 2/5, has the opportunity to be 5/5 if the many mistakes of a TD maker weren't there. As other people have commented, these mistakes have been there since #1, but they shouldn't continue into #3. And also the towers. I found that the machine gun, after checking ROF and dmg with the basic shooter, it only does 1 dmg more, but costs $30 more. Also, explain what each tower's special abilities are. I would rather have a zap tower that can do hundreds of damage over a bomb tower that costs twice as much... Unless I knew for sure if the bomb tower had splash. I won't bore everybody with the details, but this series could easily make it to the top, but the developer needs to realize that the comments of the players are seriously important because no matter how many testers of the game you have who give you feedback, your most important are the players who would actually like to see games like this improve.
I played this on AG but didn't have an account so I waited to come to here to comment. One problem with the game is that there are no ways to tell what the towers do or how long everything lasts. This is the THIRD GAME, PEOPLE! We'd think you know by now to at least give us an option to cancel buying a tower or to place multiple ones. It would do well with a level just for a tutorial, and it would also be nice if there was a little screen that told us what the towers do, or at least their names! This could be a MUCH better game, but in this case, I'll stick with ones like Desktop TD
One thing I don't understand is why when you mx an object, you can get the exact same object back along with some other elements (One time I mixed stone with something and two of the elements I recieved were stone + stone)... Sigh
FINALLY done. Last ones were oil, cars and then airplane (I was mixing oil with the tool section but accidentally skipped over cart -.- so it took an extra 10 minutes until I decided to use the light bulb...)
