"I suggest getting mockery, dart cleaver, retaliate, suspicion and paranoia and get him a chain leather armor" .... yup, that would be great, if you could get anywhere close to doing that before Boris.
"The letters' words are all jumbled up at the top of the paper so I can't read them, and the last little round clock piece won't click in anywhere. "
the letters are not at all important (someone has deliberately used a pen to scribble out what they said), and the last piece of the clock DOES fit, it's just small so it's hard to find the right spot. it's somwhere around the middle of the gear box area; the only small hole left after you place all the others.
I like the artwork, and the way the cards interact, but the whole "timer" aspect of it really turns me off. It is very confusing planning strategy when you think you have laid down cards to deal with the opponent's threat, only to for no apparent reason "lose". ditch the timer system, leave the magic buildup for spell schools. Also, add some way to sort cards to make it easier to manage your decks. otherwise, looks promising.
things I like: the rpg element added to the heroes; custom leveling, etc. -things I don't like: casual mode is wayy too hard, the game has become more about how fast you can click rather than strategy; the scorpions should be nerfed, the last boss should only be able to res itself once on easy, twice on normal, and 3 times on hard.
"What exactly do I do?" 1. use the movement keys to move your character to the character in your start room. 2. use the talk key (x) to talk to them. 3. use the move keys in dialogue to make choices, then the talk key to select that choice. 4. pick the choices that will make that character want you out of the room.
