*@qzix13:* Many thanks for a different, and interesting puzzle game!
The Accessibility for Disabled users was very good. I really liked that each page had an 'Undo' & 'Reset' icon; the colours on the numbers were also very helpful. I was glad to see that you had done - as I wish all Dev's would! - separate options for muting the Sounds, or Music.
Most helpful to me personally, was the fact that you'd included 'Inverse Control', as I struggled at first until changing that! Seeing that you'd also included 'Scroll Buttons' was great - although I used a laptop touch-pad - I know that will be very helpful to some, and didn't result in a game (like many!), that wasn't playable on either Laptop/PC! Unfortunately, it seems (from comments), that many Users have missed the functions that you have included, which is a shame; therefore my only suggestion would be to include reference to these, as this is actually a very Accessible game - well done!
*@Kong:* If you're going to badge these type of games, please make the badges for reaching a certain point in the main game, not in PVP - which can make it impossible to gain the Medium badge, when matched with players who P2W. It should not take hours of my time, over multiple days, to gain a medium badge on Kong!
*Accessibility:* The 'drag & drop' system is very difficult to use if you're a Disabled player, resulting in half the time, either: having to attempt to select a card more than once, or, opening the card details instead of selecting it. Both of these are made especially difficult when using a laptop touch-pad. Please Dev's, add an accessibility option which makes it easier to play a card. Please players, + to help Disabled users!
*@WixGames:* When moving to the third area, why design it so that there's a high risk of falling through a portal below (into Level 'Bombastic). I understand if you've designed it this way, as an additional challenge, but there needs to be an easy way to return to the menu (rather than having to restart the game), and to leave a level you've entered incorrectly. (N.B. Continuing from my earlier post, this is another a level that doesn't mark as 'Completed' in the text'.
@saniac Having these problems in latest FF. Some of the jumps take forever (esp. the one you mentioned!), when it seems like you've made the exact same move!
To those who have commented, that the *bright white flash upon dying* is annoying (or headache inducing!), you can change the colour to black in 'Options' from the Main page to prevent this (including between levels). I hope this helps! Happy gaming all! :)
*@WIXGAMES - Accessibility:* A very difficult game for anyone with mobility problems (although only needing two buttons is great!), especially: the gravity switch; returning to a previous stage by accident; the game really needs an option to let you 'Continue play from last save point' (preferably done so that you also return to a flag without being inverted accidentally!).
Also, although a portal turns black when the level is finished, some levels do not become marked as 'Completed' (eg. 'Balloon Lagoon', & 'Easy as Pie') - it would be helpful if this was fixed/alike for all levels! I've also found that sometimes level names go missing, leaving just a blank white box.
It's great to have challenging games - and I do think that it's a interesting concept, but please, consider Disabled Users in updates/future games.
I'm not asking for an easier game, just a more Accessible one! Thanks!
*Clue for Level 25:* @OrangeKick, & @gamer4023 - I noticed you were both stuck on this level. To solve it, don't think of 'new sense' as words, but as a sequence 'newsense', which only contains 4 letters. When you realise what the 4 letters stand for, then click the buttons in the correct order.
I hope this helps without me spoiling it for you completely! (Feel free to leave a note on my profile if you still need further help!)
If anyone is really stuck (after having checked the tips and comments!), please feel free to leave a message on my profile (best way to get hold of me!) - including the level number, or your problem, and I'll be happy to help!
Absolutely great Bart - the type of game I've been wanting to see more of, especially of a good enough quality to be badged!
I also really appreciated the fact that its Accessibility was great (with no puzzles requiring fast/timed movement; being mouse only; having a good colour distinction; clear text etc), so as a Disabled user I was able to complete the game! Easily 5/5!
Would LOVE to see more of the same, and I hope you will consider either: A) Adapting the mobile version, enabling those unable to game on a mobile - like myself - to play the additional levels; or B) A part 2 (which I hope you'll do anyway!!) - which would be great if it was also longer!
NB: I really appreciate the name correctly including an apostrophe!
More Bonte, & more badges needed!
Am I not supposed to be able to see the Ragnarok spell until a certain level or something? (After having done the current Kong. Challenge.)
Any help appreciated!
Technical issues with the challenge have been fixed, and everything should be working properly now. Apologies for the inconvenience, but you can now complete the third mission in Spellstone to unlock the Ragnarok spell here in Swords and Souls!
The drag and drop system is horrible for Disabled users - I'm constantly finding myself opening the cards details, or having to drag the card more than once for it to be accepted.
I dislike P2W games, but would have given this a 3/5 regardless; as it is, however, -1 for 'Drag and Drop' on cards.
Luckily, (& so other players know), it's quick to play as far as the 'Spellstone Promo item'! 2/5
*@Dev:* As a disabled player, I was wondering if you would possibly be able to make a slight change/addition to the game, to improve the accessibility.
On the tabs which show our friends sites, there is a light which changes colour - from green to grey - when we have visited that friend (and also flashes, to show which friend's site we are currently at). I personally find it very difficult to see the colour difference at times (and especially to see when it is flashing); if the light could be changed so it has a high-contrast/colour option, it would really be of help to both myself, and to other disabled Users - as well as those who simply don't have the best eyesight!
*@Dev:* I've just started the game, and I'm wondering why - at the character create screen - the symbol for 'female' is incorrect?! The cross should be under the circle (not pointing away from it at the same angle as used for the 'male' symbol).
*Dev:* I've just encountered a bug of some type: I went to make a screw in the Press, but when the Press screen closed, there was no icon showing that a screw was being made. An insect appeared at this point (which I thought was causing the problem), but - after killing the insect - I tried to make the item again (two or three times), but it still wouldn't work. I then reloaded the page, to see if that would help, but then found that I no longer had any 'Instructions' left to make it with (so it had taken them during the attempts). The other 2 Press slots were in use, and working at the time. *Extra note:* Many thanks for fixing the 'Rare Forest' bug!
*@Dev:* I saw that this was a BotD this week, and as soon as I saw the game, I was concerned it was a badge I would be unable to get (I'm disabled, and also playing on a laptop touch-pad). However, that actually wasn't the case, and I was able to get both badges (and play the levels on all settings) - therefore I wanted to say a massive thank you, for making your game accessible. The only change I would suggest that needs to be made - for accessibility - is: on the last level, you have used black meteors, on a black background (which meant I died due to vision problems!). It would be great to have a disability setting, either for a changed/white background, or just a different colour meteor setting. TY!
*@Dev:* I keep having problems in the 'Rare Forest', with my robot suddenly ignoring my selections, even though I have energy. Yesterday I managed to use 2/3 energy, but had to refresh (so couldn't get back in), & today I haven't been able to use any. The robot suddenly ignores any mouse selections (just stands in place, looking side to side).
In case anyone else is having this problem (& if it helps with any bug fix): if there are items on screen that you can take back home (decorative items such as signs etc - anything with a pop-up saying 'Will cost x/y amount of energy'), you CAN still get these items, which prevents the trip from being a total waste!
Hoping you can fix this bug! It would be great if we could refresh the page etc, without an area locking you out (when you have energy), plus the count-down timer, & access to area, restarting when your total energy for the area equals 0. Many thanks!
To those having problems with Friends not showing in game: the game is currently using your Kongregate Friend-list for the API, so anyone you haven't added to your Friend-list on Kong, won't show in the game until you add them. Look at the 'High Score' list to see which of your friends are included for you on the API (if a friend isn't showing, look at their account, to check they've added you!). I've left comments & Forum posts for the Dev. and Kongregate, but I personally believe this needs to also include your Fan list, or not be based on an external object. (N.B. Comment to Kong. re additional Friend-lists).
Thanks for so kind comment :).
