@fra87: Just for you :) I repeat part of my comment from Aug. 12, 2013: this is an info about depletion limit. if you want to know more, look at the comments around may 28. here is a part of one of my old comments: 32 is the built-in limit for the depletion. i tested it with 30 speed nodes and energy storage up to 600. i kept the energy at almost maximum and pushed the collection as high as possible. with 569 energy and collection 61.3, the depletion is only 32. http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8896/dep320coll613def17450en.jpg
@trewqaz: Just for you :) I repeat part of my comment from Jul. 4, 2013: in normal mode the emitters produce about 0.5 creeper each. in survival mode it's 20 each (total 100), so you get 40 times more creeper :) you can see it on the RED curve on this graph: http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/5577/jv20.jpg it grows about 40 times at the end, when i switched on survival mode. http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/7535/wujz.jpg ...it's possible to stand ground like that for a long time... until the max. depletion rate is enough to match the growing rate of creeper output. it grows by 0.1 each 0.9 seconds (by 100 each 15 minutes) so it doubles in 15 minutes after start of survival mode. @Vyse86: this happens if you don't read the info about the game - any game - you lose. Bad solution: give up. Good solution: Read. ATTENTION - THIS IS FOR ANOTHER PLAYER: @Monster80: if your defenses are down, it takes 3 and a half minutes for the creeper in survival mode to cover the whole map. no exceptions. then your city explodes. so, carusoo is right: you are a liar.

@Stainedclass: I submitted 3 maps - I consider all Hard Level, or Expert Level, although I uploaded them as Expert Level. That was a long time ago and I didn't know just how hard some published maps are :) Now I know: my maps are more Hard than Expert Level. My knucklecracker name is iMiZR1. Have fun :)

@chilese: on Aug 15... of course, THAT layout is the fastest... I guess, that's the only reasonable layout i didn't test :) You are brilliant! Now on "series of improved goals": did you see the second video on the playlist? :) I didn't do a voice commentary yet, so you can try to do it earlier :) I only changed the connection to the last totem, but that shortened the buildup extremely. Did you try? Today is the last day ;)
@chilese: you learned everything that can help on Aug 15 :) NO one will have a better time on that map. I couldn't get better than 1:34. Your 1:31 means perfect timing at EVERYTHING. hats off to you, sir jc the humble :)
I just remembered a very effective idea to load the totems, that I used on a similar mission a little while ago. I used it on this map now and the finishing game time (the take on video 5:19 or on the results screen 5:13) is way better than my play before (5:46). [1] This is a PUZZLE even for veteran players. PAUSE the game on each map right AT START AND many times LATER to give orders. Think before you act. [2] Chose the FIRST BASE location for the city. BEFORE you fly there, maybe use many start up locations, only to gather UPGRADES (build collectors near brown x-es). [3 - hard NOT to put this as THE first info] The command center (ODIN CITY) CAN FLY and it CAN TAKE SOME DAMAGE and most of YOUR WEAPONS can. [5] None of the OTHER STRUCTURES can fly or take ANY damage. [6] Place all starting buildings BEFORE you start the game time. [7] The 20 ENERGY AT START goes for 2 collectors. [8] The city can power ONLY ONE collectors buildup. [9] On SOME MAPS it will NOT HELP you if you ONLY KNOW the BASICS. READ the Advanced Gameplay and Strategy Tips in the IN GAME HELP. [10] Act like the survival of the human race really depends on YOU as THE COMMANDER of odin city, BE CREATIVE with all the info you have. [11] HAVE FUN! [12] Click + on this comment :)
