when I continued my game from story mode to free mode after I reached Mars, it didn't increase my money at all. I got to Mars on day 2 and my money to start day 3 is only 76 dollars...
A few changes other have already noted would be nice. Especially the selecting weapons you've already purchased so not to make them completely useless. Possibly incorporate a scroll with q and e or hotkey 1-3 (predetermined weapon slots) for the swap. Still lots of fun though.
three tries on the normal boss, keeps freezing for me on phase 2, no real correlation as 1 time i was running away, 1 i just got ankhed, 1 i was hitting normally
oddly enough game froze on the normal boss for me...at first i thought shockwave crashed, but then i realized my health and mana were still regenerating...
@ bigChief014 I thought the same, but when you get to endless mode you really want all the help you can get...eventually it doesn't even matter because once you get your team maxed, until you get to around 3000-4000 meters your damage is so massive things just fall apart. After that it becomes a keep your commander alive, your soldiers can tank bullets np game!
It is funny though...these guys can tank bullets, grenades, air bombs, but once u walk up to a spikey building or get hit by a truck it's instant death?
and homing rockets need to just go for nearest enemy...i dislike how the mass of rockets are skipping the guy in front of them to hit one at the other end of the screen just to have the remaining rockets fly back to hit the first guy....doesn't make any sense. Also happens when I walk to the enemy i want to hit just to have the rockets i'm shooting out go across the screen...o.O
a little confused at the use of the 3rd power....invulnerable is good, but running into the middle of massive enemy territory just to have invulnerability wear off is a bit odd?
...didn't realize what was killing my team till the end...stupid cars can run over your entire team when you're dodging bullets...so keep them spread and just take the bullet hits instead of instant team death from car. Which reminds me - in addition to salt squared's comment of a button to huddle, maybe add one to keep spread out when moving - i've been burned more than once with 1 straight shot while my troops were crammed together.
Anyway, great game 5/5 still for the fun!
a few more thing to add:
1. How is it enemies can shoot backwards but my marching band can't?
2. When your team is full but one of them is in the red (about to die) and you free someone, maybe turn it into a health or have him replace the most wounded would be nice.
With the car you're still able to get your party - just aim to free them by running over them with your car so you really start half way across the map with a full party.
I just wish I could choose who to let go of in my party when someone else comes around or to reorganize them so its not all grenades on the left and all rifle on the right...
ai is a bit odd - i used a purple deck and took away its power early on and instead of getting power, ai kept getting cards till 1-2 rounds before it died...
Quests don't track what has already been completed - e.g. I equipped my item before accepting the quest to equip an item and had to unequip then equip for it to count. Same thing with upgrading my barracks.
Achievements consistently wanting to be published is a bit annoying too so I wish an option to stop that would be implemented.
@ Klaue, once u get spells, first two challenges are very easy...just fire a ball at the first crystal and have the orignal seeding on attack to destory the crystal closer to you and you're done.
